You can solo missions and make 100k in the same time it takes you to find a f*cking heist lobby with competent people

I have no problems whatsoever finding people to play with. Join a decent crew, and you'll be grand.

Odd. I have got loads of money from heists and they never take as long as you say. Most likely because I do them with a group of friends that don't have connection issues. Quick easy big payouts if you don't have crap internet and have a good team.

I went from less than $400k before heists, to almost 2 mil after the 4th. Why didn't I grind missions before? They. Aren't. Fun.

The game is suppose to be fun, heists are suppose to be an enjoyable cooperative experience not a money grind. If you don't play for that then keep doing what you like doing, making fake money on a game the fastest way you know how.

Before heists GTA Online was getting stale. Heists are like a fresh breeze of air.

Boy-o-boy, did I grind my ass off in preparation. Same crap missions over and over. A lot of friends left for other games. So I did everything solo. And that was boring.

I would like to collect all heist combat vehicles for two avatars and the dough flies out the window. But I do not care, now is the time to harvest the fruits of my labour. I met a load of cool friends while playing heists.

So yes, the OP is right. I made more cash for time invested grinding missions. But now GTA is fun again.

I dunno, I keep joining the Prison Finale just for fun, as I know it inside out, and make 15% - 25% each time. If things go well I can do it 3 times in an hour, that's way more money than grinding a mission, and its a different experience each time depending on the role you play.

Part of why I like heists is you can't just spam your way through it. You gotta use your head and be on point. Unfortunately though, all 4 people need to be accountable, which makes it much harder when your crew mates are just completely awful.

Far too many noobs trying to get a piece of these heists right now, but they haven't really learned to fundamentals of GTAO gameplay yet.

If you are in a heist with 3 other people who are depending on you... there's certain things you should already know how to do, or have mastered by now.

This is not rehearsal. Go get your skills first, learn how to play, figure out what all the buttons on your controller do and how to use them (yes, really).

I don't want to be at the end of a long fought heist operation only to find out that my crew doesn't know what button to even press to open up a parachute.

Shouldn't even have to say this.

This should not your first rodeo, otherwise you are just wasting yours and everyone of your "crew mates" time.

Why not mix it up OP? run a heist then an hour or of contact missions, deathmatches, daily obj, activities etc?

Best of both worlds..

you forgot about fun

I agree, but we could have fun AND higher payouts for heists.

I SEE NO REASON TO DO HEISTS. Completed heist with 25% payout, not being the leader, and you gross $80-180k for 2 hours work. Grind any other high paying mission and get $240k-$400k

Congratulations

You are now more intelligent than the twats that make up 99% of GTA Online players

Anyone with half a brain should have figured this out by the end of the first day.

God this is such a refreshing post to read. No kiddie glitching, no youtube video secrets, no "sad trombone" bullsh*t. Just a person grinding and enjoying the satisfaction of "harvesting the fruits of your labour," as you perfectly said. Enjoy!

Yes grinding missions probably will net more money than heists. But it isn't always about cash. Fun is involved too. I'd rather do any of the heists and set ups, with friends or randoms, than grind the same old missions.

I've made over a million since heists came out - heading fast to the 2 mill mark. I could have made the same amount prior to heists but I would have had to work at it and spend ages getting there. But it feels like I've not really done much to earn it save for just have fun.

A few heists. A few set ups. Throw in the odd contact mission if I'm in a solo session before friends get on. And those daily objectives. Easy cash (and many involve earning some cash on the way too). Way less of a grind than pre heist days.

Hiests & the new toys, outfits etc were very much needed. & they're great fun.

But using the new toys have definitely added a lot to missions too & the fact we have so many missions to choose from on the Refresh page arguably makes them more fun now that at any other time.

It's a great feeling to see a fellow player go down or quit & then the game doesn't auto quit. I'm quite used to being "last man standing" in some of the missions out there. But as I said, Heists, especially with a crew/friends are brilliant too.

You can't make $240k-$400K in 2 hours grinding missions.

You can get over $250k, the $400k seems way off

You people are so damn hilarious.

Your only argument is that they are fun and not a grind and you get unlocks...

What are you gonna do once you've done them all?? Which is pretty damn easy. Then they are a grind just like the contact missions... Bahaha your arguments against this are stupid and thoughtless.

Heist is just a new thing. That's why people play it. Besides, it required to unlock the new vehicles which definitely people want.

See at least one month later. It'll be just like neo-contact mission with people spam-host the shortest ones and infested with saboteurs if it was random.

Well Grinding missions over and over is an OLD HAT..........put it in the closet and shut the door

Have you noticed that the new content added requires 2-4 players mostly 4 players (Not just talking about heists)

The new content pushes you out of solo grinding and into playing with people.......(reducing server loads)

Why grind anyway it makes the game boring, under my most current username i am a lowly level 80 ..........i started the season of heists with 3 properties about 12 high end cars and just a little over one million in the bank...I never did any solo grinding of the same mission or team grinding of the same mission, I just played the jobs each time i played for about 50% of the time

Now that heist are out, I have purchased the Guaridian, The Armoured Kuruma, and car you unlock doing Prision break

and now have 2million in the bank

and i have only HOSTED the fleeca bank job

I have completed several other from start to finish by taking invites and playing as a random, then watch for the invite to next part from the host to show up

If i cant get in at ground level on a heist i take invites to parts i havent done yet

Completing daily challenges is fun and only takes a few minutes and will give you a 25k payout plus whatever money you may make by doing the challenge itself

I am not one who thinks i have to buy every peice of new content out there.....they day it is released

You're pretty hilarious yourself. 'Kay, lemme asplain you a few things:

- Nothing becomes a grind unless you play it over and over and over. If you mix in heists with contact mission, along with all the other jobs and some free-roam action then everything stays equally as fresh and nothing becomes a grind, until the game itself starts to get stale and boring.

- They're fun right now cuz they're new, interesting, and more complicated than the contact missions we've had for 1.5 years. Eventually they'll get boring, but by then everyone will have played them so much that they'll be a lot better at them, reducing the number of fails and increasing the amount of $$ you can make from them.

- Calling someone else's argument "hilarious", "stupid", and "thoughtless" doesn't make you or your argument look any smarter.

If you're just doing it for the money then just accept invites from randoms for the actual heists, and not the setups.

How anyone could think that grinding missions would pay more is beyond me. It won't.

Not if you had a plan.

x6 CCOIII playlist alone can get you 60-78k (if you finished each around 4-6 minutes with a buzzard) around just over 30 minutes. Haven't tried doing it for 2 straight hours though. But it IS possible though.

OT: Only peasants grind. Whatever happened to playing Chopper Tail, Wet Workers, Crystal Clearout etc for FUN? Money isn't everything in this damn game.

But if you just do the heist final mission then you get a ton more money than a mission, for not much longer.

Depends on your cut and the host (assuming that it isn't YOU who host or the host is a friend/crew member).

If the host gave you anything higher than 20% then it great, otherwise it isn't THAT possible.

With Fleeca Raid it is possible though - earned 108k from it even though the cut was 50/50%.

tbh, these heists are becoming much more of a misery than any fun unless you constantly have RL friends to play with

people waiting 20 minutes to get 4 players, only for one person to mess up and then leave straight away

Yeah, sure. I am talking about the more optimistic outcome, but if it was < 20% then you could just quit and take the next relevant invite. I don't know about you, but I'm getting invites to heists about every 5 seconds. I get maybe a minute at most without an invite these days.
