It does less damage and has a longer reload, as far as I know.

What do you need to complete for the Hydra, Insurgent, and Savage respectively? I can't see them in my menu, and don't know which heist to tackle first.

From what i'm hearing the hydra is a let down or at the very least wasn't worth the hype.

 

Also $3 million? Thats pretty steep even by GTA5 standards. Dunno though part of me still wants it for nostalgia and i supose 3mil shouldn't to hard to earn.

Is it me or does the Hydra feel very heavy/sluggish? I got to fly it during the prep mission and felt a little disappointed, since I was expecting it to be as fast as the Lazer (although my buddy in the Lazer was keeping up the same speed), maybe there's a placebo effect. It's nice, but definitely not a priority on my shopping list.

And can free float and land on top of buildings. I wouldn't say a let down, but going to be a nuisance in free roam that's for sure when 7/10 of the players are able to order them from Pegasus for $200 and now it's just going to be a bunch of air fights.

But i put time into making that money. Resisting buying unnecessary $600K vehicles every DLC and just being frugal has paid off.

Rockstar, i'll be ready for the next DLC in a month after this spending spree. lol.

Looks like I'll never be the proud owner of a Hydra unless another worthwhile money glitch comes along.

 

Not that I'd really want one anyway, I'm a terrible pilot.

 

I do love my tank though. Sadly it's not even really worth bringing out anymore aside for just dicking around.
