Best time to play will be during later hours, or early morning depending on work/school schedules. It'll be like this for a while, I'm on the PS4 and I can't get on as of 1 hour ago, before that it was running smooth. Even the online section of the support site crashed. Welcome to GTA Online launch circa Oct 2013.

I was on for about 20mins in a crew session, went to switch character and was booted from the clouds. I am back on now in a public session, people seem to dropping every few minutes... gets to 20 odd players for a few minutes but always drop down to 10 or 11 people

It's hit and miss with me at the minute, one minute it will let me online, 10 minutes later it will kick me out, rockstar need to sort out connection issues with this game ... It's the only bad thing about the game.

blame all the dickheads who are unemployed & out of school & f*ckin suck ass at GTA, bum rushing the servers even though they don't play it all year. It's those pricks that are stopping the actual loyal player base from getting on.
