I'm guessing they vary because my 3 objectives were completely different to two other of my crew members when we were all online together.

They are completely random which is amazing. I had a party of 6 and we all had unique objectives.

 

Mine were:

Complete an air race.

Escape a 4 star wanted level.

Win an impromptu race.

I doubt whether the long term bonuses are even worth it. Just wait until you have to take a dump, start a mission, hit bathroom, come back and finish. Ever the course of a week or a month, you'll make even more than if you wasted your time chasing objectives.

I like the idea of daily objectives, there is always something new to do. I wish I can connect to servers one day and do my daily things and heists too

Spent 2 hours looking for someone to play Capture: Hold.

 

And everyone refused my invites to impromptu races. But none of them even shot at me as I approached, so I'm okay with it.

It's a novel idea, but not very practical for all the reasons everyone has posted so far--unless you get some that are simple to complete, it's basically a time-waster in the end.

I participated in 2 captures and I still didn't get a check mark on the box. Wonder why?
