gta 5 online connection problem

well when ever I try to go into a private match or online it pops this message up "files required to play gta online could not be downloaded from the rockstar games service

Please return to grade theft auto v and try again later" it's been about 2 hours now still nothing

Have you tried changing the time from automatic to manual and then back to automatic before rebooting the game?

Fixes the error usually, but not today due to the crowded servers giving all types of errors left and right.

 

Best to try again later on when things clear up, or worst case scenario... by the end of the week.
