r* completely changed my character

So i downloaded the heist update earlier this morning and my character went from being a black male to a Caucasian looking male with green eyes .. I thought maybe at the time there was something just wrong with the cloud system or whatever it is that r* uses , and maybe they just swapped my character with somebody elses by accident but I just got on at 1pm and hes still white . idk what to do , I shouldn't have to plau with a character that isnt mine

Well at least now you can use the taxi cab feature!

Yeah there was a thread about this issue earlier but don't know why it got deleted. It's pretty annoying that R* would allow something like this to happen alongside such a huge update, I'm wearing a mask and jacket to compensate until R* fix their mess.

It's been happening to a lot of people, me included, so it's best just to get on with it for the meantime.
