Was so excited over the heists but I just can't play them. Played for like half the day and the only heist I was able to complete in a row was the very first one. Everyone I invite seems to get a disconnect immediately after, sometimes I can't even start a job or the progress in GTA O won't save at all. Plus all the many times I have been kicked, the loading screens that are minutes long etc etc.

 

 

 

what is this ? has rockstar not learned from the launch of GTA O? this is the same exact bullcrap

They should have a similar service to DCUO by letting the most loyal players on first instead of all these cocksuckers who play 1 day a year and bum rush on release and f*cking kill all the servers.

Rockstar has good servers, its more the Literally Millions of people trying to jump on their servers at once. No game servers are gonna be able to handle that much load at once.Not sure what some people expect . I said before it dropped, be prepared to have issues till friday most likely .Its really common sense not bad servers, big difference.

I don't think you understand the concept of research, plan, contingency.

 

It's not like it's the first time... Rockstar have experienced this influx themselves on two major releases in the last two years, you'd think they'd buy more servers & learn already.

If this was a smaller fan base game, id totally understand thinking this.fact is , over 29 million copies have been sold. Largest amount of any Rockstar game , so they haven't even had this much trafffic before for one game. You think about the 4 consoles, and all those jumping on them trying to jump on this at once, pretty easy to understand to most .

What you are saying is absolutely no excuse for not knowing this would happen and improving the servers substantially, infact they've gotten worse in the months leading up to heists.

 

This isn't a small player base, I've been on it for years so I'm well aware of that, but they have already had a major release when re-released on the next gen consoles, as well as the releases for the original consoles which had more people on than what we are experiencing now as the consumer base is segmented & not concentrated like it was on PS3/XB360.

 

They have had two experiences with this, & should have done better, it's quite frankly another disgraceful job at handling major traffic & it's becoming a pain in the arse.

 

They should at the very least queue the more loyal players up first & leave the bandwagon trash in the back of the queue like DCUO does, much fairer system.

They should really look into Sony's Servers. DCUO never goes down, and that world is massive!! Sh!t graphics though..

No, Sony does have the lousiest Servers.

Estimated DL time for me on PS3 = 6,5 hours (still running since 4 hours). DL ratio is about 50Kb/sec. ridiculous.

If I could use my full bandwith this Update would not last a minute to download...

 

PSN Servers suck donkey balls.

haha i run a full online league actually for the past 4 years straight, and their servers suck , always have. Ea servers are not good . Just happen to know from years of experience with them.
