im on ps3 as well, the last two hours ive been plagued with "cannot connect to cloud servers" type messages and general bullsh*t concerning heists, like not being able to download the job, people trying to join the heist with a tag saying "accepted" then they never show up, or someone else accepts as well, like a random nub, and takes the spot my friend was going to take...

 

i knew heists would be bullsh*t...

 

oh and not to mention, heists have made my ps3 freeze up twice already. i should just stick to BF4 for a couple months til this sh*t gets figured out.

Have yet to play a heist, got close as my mate ha invited me but failed to connect me.

 

Starting online is not spawning me at my garage.

 

Not sure if I can host the first heist yet, I skipped the tutoral for second character.

its been two years since heists were even announced, and they were put off more times than i can count on my hands.

 

im honestly not that excited about them now, they have lost their luster already. i got used to the game the way it was, now they come in with this huge update, and it f*cks everything up. two years they had for this update, and they still manage to f*ck up basic sh*t for everyone. what the f*ck were they doing for two years, besides twiddling their thumbs and playing with eachothers buttholes?

Meh, this was to be expected anyway. I'm just happy I got a few heists off before it went nuts. If it's anything like the other update hiccups, the game should be playable in a few days.

The description of how the Voting System should be after a Job basically reads Verbatim to how I posted it should on these Forums...Not that they would have got the Idea from me, but whomever sent the same Idea as I was thinking to R*, clearly got R*s attention.

I have found the Physics in general seems "different". Not sure how to explain it other than this.

Before the servers crashed, the only problem I ran into was the Casco not being in my garage because I can't buy it without finishing a heist that won't launch.. >_<

 

There was other BS too of course, like I can no longer take low shots using a sticky or walk inside NPC's, cars and other objects using passive(No more astronaut selfies T^T). But I expected those two "issues"(as R* refers to them now) would have been on the block.

Not sure if some of these are intentional:

Can only walk in the store. Not the end of the store, but it's tedious walking across the store when you enjoy clothes in Online.

No Single Player Heist vehicles. Not upset per se, I just like to test drive so I know I like what I buy.

Clipping of the Scuffed Boots in jeans. Not the end of the world, just a trivial note that bothers me.

All characters now look like white men. Character's facepaint disappeared. Spawning into new sessions in random locations, even tho I have the location set to my apartment. And finding out that the R* and MS servers are just as bad as they've ever been...

 

Theres currently a bug with the PS3/X360 where your skin tone will change and/or your face will change, among other issues, just look around.

This... WTF?! Is there anyway to change your character again?

Is anyone's Email Icon on their characters phone causing a freeze?

finally got on... but can't start a heist, just get the message "failed to download, please try again"

can't start a normal contact mission either, apparently I haven't unlocked them yet.. I'm level 148, lol.. wtf.

okay, so I can start a mission from my phone if offered, but can't start them from the pause menu...

seems to only be the contact missions experiencing this problem.

keep getting the same mission offered from each contact... even if I call them and request one.

missions are all multiplayer only.



this is getting as bad as when GTAO first launched.

In a few, random missions, I've been hit with one shot kills by NPCs. It's happened, occasionally, in the past, but this was every time. I was looking for mission differences. I also experienced different traffic issues. Traffic, during a few of those same missions, seemed to drive EXTREMELY fast, and pop up out of nowhere.
