Should be ok in UK now that most people will be going to bed. Time for the US players to suffer from the insanely high demand. It'll probably be like this for a while - next to no problems through the day with people being at work or school, then come the evening it'll be rage inducing frustration.

For those of you who have been having trouble getting online, try going to character transfer. Upon exiting, you should be booted back to online. Worked for me, PS4.

hah this worked for me on ps4 also just now thanks bro. i can at least sell cars and do gang attacks

Made it through 3 heists without too many problems, then I guess the Americans started getting on and it was just too much. Oh well, had lots of fun with it and already unlocked many vehicles. Look forward to unlocking the Savage!

All jokes aside, the servers should be up momentarily. Please stay patient guys. Did you really expect to not have problems when the entire world was trying to access it?

 

Let Rockstar work the magic they barely have, it may take a few. But they know there's issues, and they're going to fix it.

MotherF*cker U.S Servers sh*t the bed the minute everyone in the UK logged on at the same time, the school kids here in the U.S just made it worse, and it could get worse cause the "Lizard Squad" might DDoS the already overloaded server like they did on the 25th of Dec. last year.

For all we know they could be making the problem worse.

I've been getting this error since yesterday after logging out. I launch GTA:O, suddenly a huge list scrolls across my screen, telling me about every unlock I've ever gotten, I take two steps, and then get this error. My character is there, fully clothed, gun in hand, in a session, and I'm kicked as soon as online loads. Anyone else getting this error? Is my stuff corrupted or something?

Been getting this error too after I finished the Fleeca heist. Pretty sure it's because there's so much traffic on the servers.

So I was just logging on...been trying for a couple weeks to unlock orange tint on my heavy sniper and combat mg, but was still like 60 to 80 kills short on each. So as I start to come out of the cloud, I hear that unlock tone, when it shows my apt from ground view, I see.... "Heavy sniper weapon tint unlocked"... "Combat mg weapon tint unlocked"....BAMM... "The Rockstar game services are unavailable". F******CK!!!!!!!
