^^ Placing actors and objects inside vehicles has always been dodgy. I feel that they work better in certain more open areas. Sometimes it comes off of Wander so ya gotta leave the creator and go back in.

Found another bug from the PS3 so I'm not sure if CG were affected.The Gangs option in capture mode doesn't seem to work when you place a gang actor in their respective gang territories. Usually, the gangs are supposed to be present in the area (with peds set to high) but they are completely nonexistent when testing it.

I think they removed it for the sake of adding more items in the content creator. Eh, the little things like this annoy me though. It wouldn't make sense to have an option that doesn't work and R* making us believe that we don't notice it.

Anyone else get FACE BLOWN OFF MICHAEL while Creating a job? Michael's face skin is missing, and theres this giant skin tone cone coming off his head, filling up the upper left of the screen, like his face was freeze framed while a grenade went off in his mouth. When you get into vehicles, it goes away, but when he's out walking around setting up props or actually TESTING the mission, conehead mode wont go away.

is this a bug that's been around for a while?

 

I created a new mission on the PS4 (my first since coming to the platform, all my other stuff is on PS3).

 

Once I finish creating it, and uploading it, the model memory is full and I cannot edit the job anymore. If I remove something, or want to reposition it, I cannot. the model memory is full.

FIB Agents are back as Capture Creator actors. "Carrier Crew" NPCs join them.

 

Why give us Carrier Crew but no carrier to put them on? I'm not too fussed about the big DLC ships being in Free mode but in the content creator there will be no limit to what we can do with them.

Now I don't know if this is a bug or not but I was trying to create a large grid race last night with the starting grid being

placed on the desert road just outside the Lost MC camp and it would not allow me to place the large grid on this

spot.

 

So I went back to the PS3 and did exactly the same and it let me place the large grid, have they changed the dimension

on next gen version of the game?

 

Also for reference the available spawn points within Fort Zancudo are restricted on NG but can still be done on PS3.

I just realized that content creator for last gen and current gen are inconsistent which makes it hard to tell if the prop is bugged or not.

Ex: On the PS3, you are able to ram right through the double gate fence under the barriers category. However, testing it on the PS4 treats like a solid object and does not allow you to ram it at all. Really? >.<

It baffles me to why the purpose of each prop has an inconsistent function despite the differences in content.

Is it just me or putting parachute pick ups in GTA Races doesn't work?

 

I created a GTA Race that was meant to show a good escape route for the Pacific Standard Job Heist Finale, ending parachute jump included.

 

I inserted parachute pick-ups, but in the race the parachute doesn't get equipped when picked up, so the parachute jump part doesn't work as it should.

Been that way since day one. You can read more about it in this thread and searching this section. This last update allows me to actually "pick them up" but yes, they don't "attach". Useless, but if they receive attention of enough people maybe sooner or later? Probably by the time it give up on this game. :(

Sounds to me like there might be something on the ground in the next gen terrain, or maybe a slight terrain variation, that is preventing the grid. When you are zoomed out far enough to see the entire large grid on PS3 sometimes certain objects will "de-render" and permit a grid, but in live play and/or testing they can obstruct the grid or vehicle plots themselves. I doubt stuff disappears as much on next gen.

Yes, the 'Tanker Group' prop from the 'Machinery' tab has been randomly deleted on PS4. Also, we do not have these props that hyperkane is talking about: a Server (as in Internet Server), Shack Door, Shack Window,

The only way to do this is to make sure you can also reach the checkpoints with a vehicle. I set it to motorcycles for the test (and even added some jumps to get to the checkpoints) and then lock the race to BMX only.

 

i made a triathlon (here), the grid and first 9 checkpoints are in the sea, i used the Liberator to test it then locked to bikes when published.

 

this cant be done anymore, any changes to available vehicles and the race needs to be tested again

 

GTA 5 (PS3) – Content Creator – Capture/ HOLD/
Problem: “Freezing of actors”.
This happens when you “touch”(or pushing, shooting) the friendly actors

Alright we got some groundbreaking sh*t right now (sorry getting overexcited lol). It seems to me that Rockstar now supports stacking of props! I was in the capture creator on the PS3 and under the props creator, you are given the option to raise or lower the prop using L3/R3. Guess what? It surprisingly works :O

Wow. That's awesome. I did try and make some super ramp/loop races a while back but I failed miserably. I don't know how people made them before this, the glitch is so difficult to get right and you have to do it for every element that makes up a loop or ramp.

So the large red Merryweather ammo container from the dynamic props category vanishes during live play. Basically the same bug that used to affect all props in captures.

 

You can drop it in the creator. It is there during testing. Vanished in live play.

In the Deathmatch Creator when you switch to "Dynamic" in the props section it reloads the creation and wipes out any changes you did to it.

 

This happened on Xbox One while I was editing my Deathmatch I don't know if it happens anywhere esle in the creator & in other platforms.
