You can no longer kick from mission lobby

Just curious OP. Why don't you close your lobby in the options? Wouldn't that avoid a lot of these issues in the first place? Not to discount the bug at all; just wondering.

Answering for myself, I have it automatically set to CLOSED on my Primary...but on my Secondary I've kept it OPEN, because I usually use that one for bullsh*tting and I don't mind randoms joining. But like some folks said earlier in the thread, sometimes someone will get sneak in before I can change it to closed and if I'm trying to play with friends/crew-mates, you're getting the boot.

Because OP is that special type of DB, he invites you and then kicks you !!!

They don't sneak in, you sent out invites as soon as you confirmed settings.

You're a different kind of DB since you know how to set it properly but still like to troll players :die:

A stupid decision. So is not letting us host jobs from the pause menu.I really wonder what went through their head

Lots of players complaining about being kicked because the moron host didn't know how to set his matchmaking options, or like the DB above, just enjoys trolling other players.

Not a huge deal to me - my crew all meets at the host's apartment before we start any heists. We just walk into the prep room and it puts us in the lobby.

Voting to kick was being abused by hosts hence its removal, you have control over

the lobby and many invite options/the ability to remain host and to close the quick join

match making option.

However it also depends what type of session you are iin and also as there are still

problems with the servers and connection issues the game lobbies are not working

correctly.

You sound like a dumb bitch yourself. Considering you're making blanket assertions about what my play style is.

Anyone that knows me, knows I don't troll.

But you keep telling yourself that people are kicking you cause they're trolling you versus what's likely happening.

I.E. you have a sub par personality and no one wants to be around you.

So now if you inv some Randoms to a job and they turn out to be trolls you can't kick them...That's so much better than having people get kicked for no reason occasionally. It's bewildering that anyone could support this decision...

And I don't take back my estimation that you sound like a DAB whose behavior is why you're consistently kicked.

But, I also add that given you quoted my post and thus "read" it...you also lack discernable skill in reading comprehension possibly do to a sub par intellect. Which is a perfect match for your sub par personality.

Hmm, I swear I was kicked out of joining random contact missions at least 2-3 times yesterday.

Pisses me off, they probably do it because I'm level 480, but I'll only start causing mayhem for the other players it they do something like intentionally running me over - THEN I'll f*ck with them.

@johndivney

I've had many occasions where people have joined my lobbies before I can even turn matchmaking off and I do that as soon as I start it up. You cant prevent an instant join.

Appropriate username.

Here's how to:

> Start

> Online

> Options

> Matchmaking - Closed

You can prevent insta join. This way matchmaking will be automatically turned off whenever you host a job.

I don't so much mind being kicked from a lobby, it's being penalized by the game like I did something wrong. R* needs to put something in that only penalises people if they are kicking during the mission, not before

Arrows to Athens

Buy a Kesh Kerd and you will have the kick option available for you.

I was playing a custom race yesterday (on 360) and was still able to kick players. Can you only kick from custom jobs now ?

Why would getting kicked be a bad thing? As if you want to play with that person/those people anyway...

Kick feature should just stay in for when you want to play with random people but some idiot joins screaming profanity into his mic. Just for example.

For private games, close the matchmaking. Hell, it's better to just set it to closed by default and instead open it up when you want to. Avoid having to kick people who don't deserve a kick because you were too lazy to go to the options and change it.

Which is funny because obviously it takes more effort to go and close it every single time.

SALO or The 120 Days Of Sodom

Good now maybe this will teach people to put matchmaking to CLOSE so you can invite who you want to. Really annoying when I join a random job and the host is like, "who the f*ck is that?" And his buddy says, "kick him".

Most of the times they don't know how to kick or what the f*ck "set matchmaking to close/open" means

If you're playing with a crew, then just put the matchmaking to off, and invite them off the crew list/friend list. If you just want high level people without a level 20 joining, then you're screwed.

This is BS because I just got kicked out of a Death Metal lobby and a Mixed up with Coke lobby back to back.

&

You're a difference kind of moron, i guess you've never heard of people joining though Quick Jobs have you?

People who select quick jobs/on call are put into lobbies as soon as it opens not giving you a chance to close the matchmaking.

But it looked like this was a day one issue and was fixed with the update they released two days later you are able to kick people now

You're the only type of moron present in this debate. SET YOUR MATCHMAKING TO CLOSED IN YOUR SETTINGS, N00B!
