EDIT: It looks like this was just a day one glitch and was fixed with the patch released a few days after the update was released the Kick button has returned.

 

So doing a job and before i could close the matchmaking someone joined and i went to kick them out but the option to kick people is no longer there..

This wasn't a good idea, Now how are we suppose to kick out mission trolls?

Do it during the mission. Players can vote to kick in the pause menu

But it requires 2 votes so if it's a two player mission you can't kick them.

I'm sort of torn on this.

 

On one hand, it's good that it was added as I was tired of being kicked for no good reason every time I joined a lobby.

 

On the other, I'm sure people will take advantage of the fact they can't be kicked (No one ever votes once the game gets going.) to behave like jackasses and "troll" throughout the mission.

Probably a mistake but I'll take full advantage of it while it lasts. Always kicked from job lobbies for no reason. I can understand a group in the same crew but for no reason?

Yes.. if this is true im with you on being torn.

 

No longer will stupid pubs be able to kick me from races... But now, we can no longer remove trolls.

If there's a mission objective and I am the one running it I have leverage. There's an afk or a troll in there I message the rest to vote kick him or I simply don't finish the mission. Works everytime.

This is a bad idea.. because people are idiots.

 

Just imagine race lobbies. Every host would be getting vote kicked for turning off catch up and slip stream.. Or because they chose to race something other then super cars.

f*ck em.. Let them them leave.

I think you get kicked from a job because you failed to start the session with everyone else. I agree, there should be an option to kick someone from the phone like it was GTA IV.

I'm not directing that at you Kitty, but everyone praising this. Most of the time it's because a group of friends is trying to partner up in a lobby and a random shows up because someone didn't turn Matchmaking "OFF". I know this, because I do it sometimes, and I've joined friends' lobbies only to be kicked, but I know they all knew each other in the lobby.

 

That's fine, it doesn't bother me to be kicked in that situation, and I like having the option to do so myself when I accidentally invite people or a random player joins.

You can still kick players from the deathmatch lobbies, which is good because I can get rid of the helmet heads and low levels.

Maybe depends what you say. I always use "[username] is trolling. Please vote to kick them.

 

Sometimes they reply "only host can kick", to which: "start menu: players: kick option is there."

 

Inform, educate, kick, win.

 

Or they're foreign, in which case KICK THEM BLOODY FOREIGNERS EH? FAAAK OORF!!!

I too think this is good. Mostly cause I join on call all the time and just as the lobby fills up... "you've been kicked" or when I join a lobby after being on call then the host decides to kick you right before the mission starts...

Well of course there is no good reason to kick someone who is in first place other than racing dirty and even then you shouldn't kick them.

 

This is regarding in the lobby not during the job.

People who kick are wankers OR idiots who haven't the brain cells to close their matchmaking. The IDIOTS are worse imo, just go to your settings & solve it once & for all instead of not being quick enough on the job screen.

I've had many occasions where people have joined my lobbies before I can even turn matchmaking off and I do that as soon as I start it up. You cant prevent an instant join.
