And now not even the uniform? My character looked KICKASS in that thing. Throw on her aviators, grab a cop car, and she'd be f*cking awesome. But no. GOD. f*ckING. FORBID.

Your massive tantrum is obnoxious and un-called for. Did R* ever specially say they would make police cars storable and a cop uniform unlockable? I'm pretty sure they didn't. You're not presenting a good representation for the "want cop stuff" crowd.

Personally I agree with their decision, if you could wear cop uniforms and own police cars you could potentially go off radar and casually walk up to any new player and have your way with them, all sorts of trolling could ensue. Probably the same reason why you can't buy clothes/outfits that NPC's wear I imagine.

I don't really see how walking up to a player off radar, disguised, and screwing with them is some sort of issue all the while people are getting killed by VTOLs, tanks, and 5 year olds with chrome adders and an unlimited supply of sticky bombs.

If someone goes off radar the entire lobby is notified in essence telling all players to keep an eye out for players, if someone is wearing a cop outfit and controlling their character sensibly the majority of GTA players won't even bat an eye lid at a cop, that's my assumption.

As for VTOL's/tanks etc.. they have weaknesses, a player has methods to counter or avoid those I suppose, I dunno I'm just spit balling here

I noticed that I didn't unlock it after the prison finale. But I also noticed that you have the option to use them in the Pacific Standard Heist (THE last heist). Maybe you unlock them after that?

 

Nope. They're just a clothing option like any other heist. You can also used player saved outfits (I'd suggest this and use the heavy heist armor for your whole crew) and then there's two other options besides the police uniforms which are suits and maintenance uniforms.

Well then make the cop uniforms all brown. Make them different than the rest of the cop uniforms in the game.
