Heist fleeca hacking mini game and drilling

ughh, so frustrating seeing all these noobs playing heists while I'm stuck at work, ffs.

Can't say I'm a fan of these mini games. Annoying either way! If you do it you'll probably struggle and get frustrated and if someone else does it you'll be bored to tears waiting. Was hoping for a more action packed affair. Maybe they just take some getting used too but still they slow everything down to a halt and take some of the fun out of it.

Hacking part was frustrating... In the fifth one which looked the hardest when Lesters emo smiley showed up.... I have never felt so happy to see Lester before.

 

Drilling was fun. You actually feel like doing something important but donot want to f it up. I understood the "drilling it slowly" part in a few minutes.

Hacking and drill part weren't much fun. But sure beats getting unknown network errors when all you want is to see the heist passed victory celebration.

I found the hacking mini game in the heist to be easier then the word search we have in contact missions.

I think the location of your high end apartment makes a big difference. Everyone is using eclipse. Can you even get further away from Lester's warehouse?

That hacking is difficult when your analogue stick moves on its own. But I did it.

Are you kidding? I love those games, especially the computer hacking. All those endless hours playing Beam Wars as a kid are really paying off (Beam Wars FTW!)

 

And the Drilling was really hard at first but only because I had no idea what the hell I was doing at first, once I got the hang of it it got much easier, next time I do it I think I'll easily get it done in a fraction of the time.

So far what I've noticed from this heist is that the mini game is definitely sped up during the actual heist compared to when you're doing the scope out setup. They should've kept it consistent to just keep the game speed going adequately. Definitely took me like 7-10 mins the first time to get it, the drilling is fairly easy if you just have a steady hand. Now its a breeze after the 2nd time thru.

 

The worst part is when your partner can't do the drilling fast, I get tired of just holding the 3 people hostage, Ive been stuck in 3 games where it took over 10 mins, ridiculous.

All the instructions are on screen. Really wasnt that hard after a couple of seconds of, you know, reading. Esp the mini game use the d pad rather than the analog stick.

This!!!! Although the last one is a pain in the ass, using the D-Pad made a world of difference on this!

First time I did the drilling it only took 20 seconds at the most. How the hell do people take 20 to 40 minutes with this sh*t? They should moderate themselves, damn.

I always ask to be the driller because I just cannot rely on people like you, OP.

 

I watched my sister play the first heist. She was the driver. I stood and watched as she ran out of ammo in her pistol because the driller took too long. He literally took over 20 minutes on the drilling part (and my sister left before he could finish it). That is not a joke or an exaggeration. You could hear the drill go on and off the whole time.

 

And when she quit, the driller (who was also the host) messaged her with rage and insults. I honestly don't think he was trolling. I'm sure he just couldn't do simple tasks or complete simple mini-games. Can't tell if 7 years old, or just plain stupid.

I found the hacking a pest and was embarrassed by how long I took. The drilling was easy once I realised it's actually pretty similar to drilling hard materials such as stainless steel in real life.

I find both of these very easy, ( haven't messed up hacking once yet! ) but I can see how people could find it difficult. Tips? Play snake to train, and use the d-pad.

 

As for drilling, you need to learn to only push the analog stick in very little at a time.

The game inside the game sucks, but its so basic I cant imagine anyone who plays even once in a while having too much trouble with it

Just use the dpad and both of your hands for the hacking game.

Put your controller on your lap, and use your right hand for right/up, while the left hand does left/down.

I had no problem with the hacking mini-game. Made a mistake once on the last hack because i took a turn too early. Finished the hack when we arrived at the bank.

 

I had some problems with the drill though.

 

Today i did the Fleeca job with my second character as the driver. The player who had to hack the bank had a lot of trouble with the hacking. When i arrived, he was still hacking. 10 min later he was done.
