I got error. Now I'm downloading second time, but it seems like 50kb/s. WTF R*???

 

I have 50MB/s connection tho

Same here, been trying an hour and a half :/

 

Try disabling media under network settings, so far so good at 28% (touch wood)

I would wait till the mad rush eases up on the servers. I am going to wait another date myself to avoid this type of madness.

This has NOTHING to do with :r*: everybody is downloading the update so the PS servers are being pressured right now

I have 5 MB/s and I downloaded the update without any problem. I think I'm lucky.

Instead of blaming Rockstar, use your brain and think about how many people are downloading the same update right now. We're all effectively DDoS'ing the servers. Sony servers are the ones you should blame.

Yeah I'm at my 7th try now. It's crazy. It either seems to freeze (no % added, although the time keeps adding seconds every minute) or just plain times-out and kicks me from the DL with an error mesage.

I've disabled my Media settings as one user here suggesested. I'm not sure it helps, not for me anyway it seems. I'll just keep praying to Kifflom it'll work sometime.

Sorry to hear it didn't work, mines still going (albeit very slow) but no error as of yet, have you tried turning off your modem for a few minutes?

No I haven't, that is probably the next thing I should do. I'm giving it one last (10th) chance to works on it's own, after that I'll take a shower do some stuff in the house and try the modem or other solutions I can think off.

I went through this earlier this morning. Just restart your system and it resumes. It took two restarts for mine to finally keep downloading (PS4). Been playing for a couple hours now.

Hmm yes, I started it about 15 minutes ago and it says "3 hours left", anyone that I know hasn't said that it takes 15 minutes

OMG... 180+ minutes later.... DL complete.... installing....

 

This part is about 2-3 seconds per 1%

 

Few more seconds...... common !!!!!!!! 75%...... 77.... 80....

I have 100 mbps interwebs, but this download for me only goes like about 5mbps... sigh. I hate waiting a few minutes.

Hey guys.
Mine was also downloading very slow so i switched from wireless to wired connection and it works. 50% in about 5 minutes and 7 minutes left (thats the way it should work with my connection).
I don`t know why it works but i don`t care, i wasted 2 hours trying to download it wirelessly, now i`m going to play.

I feel your pain. But the bad news are, there's no HDD upgrade here in my country. And in order to get one, my father need to send money to my uncle in Morocco to buy one.... And ship it here.....

......Which equals 400 LD at least. Too much hassle. :/
