Mister Pink Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) Sam Simon has died. I knew he was terminally ill so it wasn't so much as a surprise but it's still sad. I only found out that he left after 4 years but he did a deal that would see him get 20-30 million per year and co-creator credits etc as I'm sure we all know when he name comes up second or 3rd in the credits. He was also an atheist and funded atheist posters around the USA, notably this that featured in New York He was also a philantropist. He set up a foundation in LA to rescue dogs from kill shelters to be trained as service dogs. He was a bit of a hero. So here's to Sam. I just love the fact that Sam Simon was a hardcore, outspoken atheist who tried to tell rich people to give away their money. why can't we get more guys like this rising to the top?? Aside from this pro-active atheist approach, I also read he'll donate his 100 million fortune to charity. These type of people should really be celebrated and not phonies like Mother Theresa.
