Just a quick tip. I noticed my download seemed to bog down or stall at times on my ps4. The solution for this is manually pausing and un-pausing your download. It keeps it going shaved at least 15 min off download time. Hope this helps.

Set your mtu to 1473 also makes it faster

Well my internet connection does not allow high speed broadband. Been downloading it since 7 this morning, it is now nearly 12 and just hit the halfway point. 1mb line and highest speed possible on this line is 124kb/s.

I can play perfectly fine, both on my ps3 and now my ps4. Only time I experience lag is when my wife is home and using the net but generally it works fine. Compared to players who have a better connection speed than myself, I have the same ups and downs as they seem to have with the odd connection error here and there.

 

Funny enough, I played fine as well on a 512kb line on ps3 when I first got GTA V.

That's cool, and also unexpected. I'm sure somebody said that Rockstar had recommended at least 5mbps download to play GTAO. Then again, there's a lot of bullsh*t on this forum

 

At least that shows that people that do have problems can rule out bandwidth.

Yeah I do max 200kb/s, still 4 or 5 hours to go. So I'm here checking the forums on the new stuff, waiting.... waiting...
