f-pvp.

I hate this crap where game companies don't like how little people play pvp so they make it a requirement to unlock some stupid thing.

you don't want players to do money glitches then stop with the insane overpriced items in your game.

 

honestly, this will end up like the performance upgrade crap where players take turns letting each other win.

Hey, anybody feel like actually posting what the challenge requirements are instead of just bitching about them?

Sports - Win 50 Captures

Lowrider - Drop off 50 packages in Captures

Offroad - kill 100 package carriers in Captures

High-End - Complete 50 Heists Finales

Tuner - Complete 50 Heists Setups

Bikes - Kill 100 players with night vision

SUV - Win 50 LTS

Muscle - Be the last player alive in a LTS 50 times

 

 

EDIT: If you already completed the requirement before the update, it will also unlock. I already unlocked the SUV and Lowrider for free.

 

Goddamn man, I've never played LTS before, I am so f*cked since I don't like the game mode, lol

There is already a lot of things you can unlock by racing. I think they did this just to make people play those two modes that aren't too popular. But i also think that since it's car related, it should be unlocked by racing.

All of my rewards for captures and LTS were reset with the update. I've played tons of those with the crew. Oh well, let's do it again!

I was going to purchase chrome for two vehicles (even after buying one of those vehicles, to boot,) but being stiffed by my partner on the Fleeca job left me a little burned and I quit early.

You must be a low level peasant if you have never done pvp.

I'm level 400 sitting on 14m

 

I have completed 3500 races and mastered most missions but do very little in the way of death matches or other non race pvp modes...so no

 

Anyone that uses the phrase low level peasant is either 14 or a total f*cking dickhead.

Think better about buying rims that suit your car, and don't try every rim. Saves a lot of time and money..... Or you can just play pvp

So if nothing is level locked people will complain that it should be and its unfair that everybody gets said item. If anything is locked based on some sort of achievement or level then it's also unfair and shouldn't be locked.

 

I think this pretty much sums up this forum.

Chrome rims are completely cosmetic and do nothing for performance (I assume). People mostly complain about level ones having homing launchers, which is obviously very different.

 

In my opinion, car performance mods (brakes, armor, bulletproof tires) and weapons should be level locked. Cosmetic purchases like clothes and paint jobs should not.

Yup, so far I've just upgraded the rims on some of the old school muscles and some classics like the Peyote and Manana, plus my Hot Rod and Rat Truck. I tried to find suitable ones for the newer muscles but just couldn't find a good look on my Dominator and Gauntlet. None of the chrome rims seemed to jive. I bet they would look nice on Congnoscenti though or some of the nicer SUVs. Hmm, might have to buy a Congoscenti now lol.

Unless those who say it's overpriced are the folks who did NOT glitch money OR have under 1 mil... That sounds outright ridiculous.
