I've tried to play with randoms, I'm at the point of giving up.

We had to go into Humane Labs quietly, the game told us multiple times that we have to go in quietly, take out the guards...quietly. This dude continued to fire his automatic pistol at the first guard by the gate, causing an instant fail.

You would think people are paying attention to the in game instructions...but apprently not.

It seems like trolling heists is far more productive than trying to actually finish them and get the money.

For that setup I think you need a group, or at least a somewhat intelligent random with a mic and the others listening to you. Even with us all having mics it took 5 or 6 six tries.

I wonder what the payout for the elite challenge is on the Pacific Standard Job ?

The time you have to beat is 10:15, which seems very possible if you take the train tracks route and hustle as fast as you can through the alleyways.

Also scooping up all the money in the bank takes time so maybe if you just did a run for the hell of it where you only grabbed one or two stacks each that could massively cut down on the overall time length.

The other challenges are to avoid getting NOOSE called and not to die, so those seem really easy.

Anyone interested in giving this a go?

Question for the players who have done the heists..

I'm a level 31 but a decent player. Had the game for last gen and then transfered over. Was never big on the online but started to get into it. Should I wait to level up more before attempting any of the heists? My biggest concern is the health factor. I did do the first flecca one but that wasnt exactly challenging. I have decent weapons as well.

I'm level 130 (ignore the pos signature because gta-stats refuses to update me) and my health still drops fast without snacks and armor

Is it the Merryweather Mesa that's available on the Internet? Is it something different with that Mesa?

There are certain times when everyone needs to have their interaction menu open & to spam new body armour. As long as you're careful you shouldn't be a burden & can pull your weight in other, less deadly sections. I've a friend in the 30ranks & he does die more often but it's understandable, even if it's frustrating for him personally. He does rage sometimes so maybe it would be worthwhile levelling up if you get pissed off. But really, if you play carefully just jump in & try & have fun.

half the time right at the start of the heist/set up, I am unable to open my weapon wheel and there is no minimap for about 30 seconds to a minute.

Has anyone in heists after a cutscene be stuck for a few moments unable to open weapon wheel or have the text appear at the bottom?

Was doing the Key Codes Humane as the Buyer and the FIB were shooting and my Bodyguard and myself were stuck behind a car getting shot at with no weapons for a few moments.

As a GTAO first timer, my God. This sh*t is absolutely great. I can honestly see why Rockstar is gearing towards online. I love the heists. Within the first day of playing, I already have my own apartment and hosted a heist. Good sh*t. Waiting on Lester to call back

I haven't tried the heists yet but are they really playable without a mic? Seen conflicted posts that say you do, you do for some or that you don't really need them at all.

I play without one, but am planning on buying one this week, mainly because certain occasions where players run round like headless chickens and i'm screaming at the TV "you go left! i'll go right, for f**k sake stop following me!" lol

Escaped the Pacific Standard Job with a little over 1.2 million yesterday using the Kuruma PV method. If you want a massive payout that seems to be the way to go.

We also discovered that there is a 6 car apartment literally right next to the building that houses the bikes. So instead of going crosstown to get my Kuruma and bring it back to the group, I can just walk next door.

The problem with random groups and cuts

My understanding is avg is 40 20 20 20

If they have done atleast one of the set ups with you

If there joining at the least minute it is ok for them to be at 15 percent

The problem with this tho

1 everyone wants more

2 everyone prefers to host there own making randoms to join hard just so they get the large cut

3 any rank can join of course you can sit and remove them but lower ranks think its the best way to get cash so they keep joining

How to fix hiests

1 give the hiest leader cash for doing the set ups

2 set the percentages sorry to say but yeah 40 20 20 20

3 make it so you can set your asking rank i.e i set it to minimum req rank is 50 plus so only above that may join mine

4 set the lives to one per person and not one on the whole as this will allow more random groups to happen

Cant wait for gta 7

Online only

There heading that way with good reason like many i skipped the single player and went to online lol way more fun. Imagine what there going to do with gta 7 full online probably 70 gigs of mayhem and life like graphics. Imagine a gta where you can walk in any where, where you can go into a store and buy a doo dad for your house. Then pop down to an atm and blow it up, take the money and escape from the cops. Only to stop for a coffee before going home and having dinner and then off to bed lol.

Quick question.

Is the gun on the Technical more powerful than the gun on the Insurgent Pickup?

Cheers.

how does that method work?Once you get to the bikes have one guy take a bike and go to his garage to get his personal Kuruma while the rest of the team holds down the bike area and fends off the cops. Everyone must sit on a bike to prompt the dingy to spawn and enter the next phase of the getaway before the Kuruma guy takes off to his garage or you'll get a "leaving heists area" message.

You can enter your garage as long as you aren't in the sightlines of any cops, so make sure you shake any tails on the way to your garage.

Also make sure you DO NOT start the heist with your Kuruma out or it won't be in your garage. Learned that one the hard way.

Once you have the Kuruma just cruise back, pick the rest of the team up at the bikes, and take your preferred route to the dingy.

Yeah it has a significantly more powerful gun at the cost of being mounted on a Rebel, but it'll explode anything with a few shots.

Having an issue today on PS3. I can get online, join other heists, but when I try to launch my Prison finale, I get "failure to download" over and over. Even after restarting my system.

A 40/20 split on the Pacific Standard job is a 500,000/250/250/250 split.

You get roughly 130,000 from the set up missions as a crew member.

The leader fronts 100, 000

So all together (in a perfect heist of course) the leader makes 400, 000 (500, 000 - the 100, 000 up front fee) and the crew members make 380, 000 (250, 000 heist cut + the 130, 000 set up earnings).

If you have a dedicated crew to complete a heist and all the set ups with, than 40/20 is the fairest way to go.

If people are going to swoop in on the last mission and get a six figure pay day than 15% is fair imo

Agreed there. If they stayed with you and communicated effectively for the setups, they deserve it. If they didn't, f*ck em.

So I took the advise and just jumped in. First heist was the humane labs. Me and a more experienced player were ground team while the host and other guy were in the chopper. I held my own and didn't die. Could have been a good score but they kept destroying the chopper outside. After an hour I was done. Tried with another group. This time I was gunner and two others were ground team. 3 hours of them failing and I have throw the towel in.

Each time my cut was 20 percent. Someone was arguing ( level 22 ) about not getting 25 until I got on the mic and said we were all jumping on this guy's hesit. He did the set ups so let him have an extra cut. Honestly I would have been happy with 15. I just want to complete one lol.

Damn sounds like you got bad luck by getting matched up with those idiots.

Don't give up though. I've done every heist and some of them multiple times. They're a blast if you get a good people who communicate.

Yeah sh*t for luck. I'm gonna keep on trucking though. Bound to find some players to finish a heist.
