Saikolemon Posted March 13, 2015 Share Posted March 13, 2015 Guys, for those of you doing the Heist setup - Valkyrie mission, an easy way to complete this mission is simply for the crew to go the neighbouring pier, one guy swims over to the chopper while the other 3 snipe the guards. Pilot collects the chopper, picks the crew up, this will trigger the wave of buzzards. After that, the pilot lands the chopper and the entire crew goes to town taking out the buzzards from the ground. Easy-Peasy. Considering how time consuming it can be just to get to the main thrust of the mission, there really ought to be some form of protection for the players who are left on the active job. Still getting calls from Lester with the Prison Break heist. This is frustrating. There should still be the option to go back and do heists you have done previously but once you complete all stages of a heist it should move on to the next one. There's something highly satisfying about finally being able to laugh at the cops/N.O.O.S.E. for ~10 minutes with a five-star wanted level while you pick them off with your AP pistol. It still takes damage, but very slowly; some shots do come through the windows, but it's slow enough as to not be a problem.Of course, step out of the armored Karuma, and you're still dead in seconds. But I can see where two people could (with five stars) quite easily rob half of the convenience stores in LS with this car before it tanks. There's still a lot of inconsistency and issues with the cops that need to be addressed, but this update did seem to make losing them a little bit easier/faster. They can still surprise you though; until that wanted level disappears, keep the weapon ready... As for heists themselves? Can be fun if you're lucky in finding decent randoms and don't accidentally screw something up yourself. But meh; not worth the time, money or effort (at least at this point) IMO compared to the fun in free roam. I'm not a big fan of anything scripted in games. Spontaneity and freedom to explore and just roam is huge...open worlds and scripts are two different mindsets and don't mix well. At one point, one crew member had to go let his dog out, so we all just piled in a Karuma and sat there til he came back. Cops piled up on us, but we just picked them off slowly. Yes, but if you complete all heists as leader or crew member, you can call lester to cancel your current heist, and then you can choose any heist. You don't have to be the leader of all heists to unlock this. I just found that out as I completed the last heist. I only hosted the first one, and now I can choose to host any heist.
