OK what has "The Heists DLC" changed?

Every time i start up the game, i have to set my settings, they all go to default. Even at the beginning when the set brightness option appears!!! Anyone else?? This sucks for people like me who change just about every setting. Anyone else??

I had that brightness screen today on the ps4

Hasn't the entire map always been available with the touch pad? If that's what you mean, it's always been there for me.

 

That's not the entire map. only a part of it. I'm talking about hitting option button and pulling up the whole map. Others posting on this topic must not understand the word "entire". Before, it would only show your garage.

Like I said, I only know this for sure on the PS4.

He's right guys. You have not always been able to open your map in your garage or even apartment. It would just show a glitched out map of your garage.Has always been like this. I'm telling you, on all consoles. In garage, or apartment, hit start, then hit the touch pad and veiw the entire regular map. It switches between interior veiw and exterior veiw.

 

Always been there.

 

Edit: I see now, they have completely replaced the garage map with just the regular map.

 

Previously you could choose between the garage map and entire map, by pressing the touchpad on PS4, just like the apartment interior.

In the last update, the Lazer(fighter jet) and the buzzards lock on missles were buffed quite a bit. They travel a lot faster and go a lot farther than they used to. Their a lot like the homing rockets. Their pretty hard to dodge now. I could dodge the rockets all day long but now I have about the same chances as I do with someone shooting at me with the homing rocket.

 

Not sure yet about the savages and the hydras rockets yet, I'm gonna test them tonight.

I left my console completely idle for around half an hour while I ate, GTA O was still connected when I got back. My controller was off, so there's no way there were accidental button presses or something

• Team lives flashes when 0 in missions now
• There seems to be an issue in missions and heists where if two people die almost simultaneously and you only have 1 team life, they still both respawn.
• I cannot get gunner rockets to work in the Savage. Should they exist?
• The Valkyrie blocks my Interactive Menu, simply won't open whilst in it.
• If you have 0 homing rockets, buying All Ammo will not refill them

Some mission specific changes I noticed;

• Land, Sea and Air now fails if a helicopter is destroyed whereas before you could deliver one and pass
• Editor and Thief - editor spawns a block further south, already moving
• Los Santos Connection seems to have a weird bug where you can pass the mission without stealing the coke or going to Madrazos
• Titan of a Job has more enemies in the hangar (not sure about this one but it felt like it the one time I played)
• The messaging is messed up, e.g. "Collect the Briefcase" on my screen all the time my friend is delivering it to Madrazos.*

I still wish there was a quick-messaging system in jobs, just basic stuff like "wait", "come here", "get in" etc.

Parts don't deform at all, only scratch and fall off.

Obviously a bug, but don't expect it to be fixed before the next update, though, as it's not game-breaking, only really, really annoying.

They've removed the radar and health bars from the HUD when you die in a mission and spectate another player, to prevent walk through I guess.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but the suppressor for the pump shotgun is way smaller now. You couldn't even aim down sights properly in first person before the update.

Appeared to me that the Buzzard takes less abuse than it did in the past. I gave it one good thump and it lasted maybe 30 seconds before dying.

 

Can anyone check the files to see if the damage value was changed?

Has anyone NOT been paid for their Daily Objectives? PS3, btw. I've been doing them since the start, but only noticed 2 days ago that it shows the 'green +$25,000' above and +3000 RP. Yet, nothing in my 'pocket' nor deposited???

 

Is this broken? Oh, and wife & I been playing in friend only rooms.... Maybe THAT'S why we won't get paid? The RP does go up. But, no money? I've searched this Forum and Googled, but no one else is losing their payday but us?

If it shows the 25000 it will credit to the bank account as I checked this very carefully after completing my daily challenges

yesterday.

 

What to do is make a note of your bank balance before the last objective is completed and then check it again afterwords.

 

If the amount on bank balance has not increased then file a support ticket with R*, it should not matter which lobby type you

are in as I have been getting this in Invite Only sessions.

I know I have many of them the update, lol, and I'll do my best. As for my mother she is doing better and there is talk of releasing her today, I hope so. The driving form here to there, back to here, and so forth is what has taken all of my "free-time". Yes I have done Distact Cops for Lester twice now, once at Vesucci Beach near the gang attack the other

was near the Life Invader building.

 

Good challenge, got paid both times but escaping those five stars was tricky both times.

Got it yesterday - even in 'Invite-Only' (shows up with a frequency somewhere between the Import/Export text from Simeon, and the High Priority Vehicle).

 

Pretty fun - had one out at the Murietta Oil Fields, and fortunately I was in my armoured Kuruma, so it was almost too easy to just drive rings around the cops (and occasionally scrape the odd NOOSE goon off the side of a Granger...).

 

100 rp every so often if you don't die/leave the area, and you'll keep racking up wanted stars at a rate of roughly one a minute, until you're at the full five. Bear in mind that while you'll get $10,000 for a successful attempt, you'll still have to shake your wanted level the usual way afterwards (which is why the Kuruma's perfect, again - just head to the subway construction site, and sit in the tunnels for a bit while the coppers look confused...).
