so far heists have just made the game pure sh*t


the guys who made the saints row games do a better job than rockstar and those games suck sooooooooo hard......

Did they improve the framerate in the city on PS4?

I feel like it is greatly improved. May be placebo, or just a coincidence, but last night Online was silky smooth for me.

Thanks to this little gem, the Eclipse Towers is really damn laggy.

It feels like a new game to me. I noticed the graphical change immediately. Lighting overall and framerate seem better. I have seen several posts people noticing this, so I guess they just optimized the game finally. Across all consoles.

Another thing, when doing heists, the shelving in the planning room will gain various items relating to your current heist.

Right now im on the prison heist and in the planning room are some prison clothing and officer uniforms, other shelve has 2 pairs of aviators and 4 headsets. Loving the detailing.

stop and wonder what you're pointing at...

The entire "feel" of the game is different, especially with the lighting, frame rate, and overall graphics changes. Plus with daily objectives, Lester's place marked on the map, etc, it feels so much more aligned with single player. I was able to do one setup, and it was a blast, especially with Lester talking throughout it, it really felt more "true" to GTA than ever.

 

And I know it's minor, but I love the new pointing feature - I stood in front of a few Paused players last night and pointed right at them so that is the first thing they saw when they unpaused. Heh heh, creepy huh?

There were three of us standing by Peleto bay animation wondering what the red helicopter on the map was and what the helicopter above it was doing.

Pointing may be my favorite thing in the game. Standing around with ffour other players, all pointing in random directions in the sky and spouting gibberish is pure fun.

 

OT: Anyone nabbed anything like the armored Kuruma or technical yet? Is it a pegasus vehicle?

they patched the new character to edit 1st characters appearance glitch, but only slightly and it's very annoying because you can still make it work and change how your main character looks but they fixed a part where if you had a mask on your character he would keep it on when going to the appearance screen to be edited, it was possible through this to put a hat on a toon with a mask on already, but they literally made it so that anything your wearing comes off your head my assumption was to specifically target the hat + mask glitch, which is super f*cking annoying because it's harmless and this was literally the last method to pull this off and it was very limited with hat options at that too, and now... nope, a hat layered over the top of a mask is just way too much to ask from R* as they have have gone out of their way to target this glitch over and over again in the past

I did it last night and was hoping it would be the last time I ever had to do the tedious process, was planning to save my stocking mask plus top hat combo but got f*cked

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but after downloading the heist update "Shine a Light" on Radio Mirror Park actually comes on online. This song was claimed to be in the game since the beginning but was only ever heard rarely when replaying singleplayer missions. Now I'm hearing it online, but still rare.

 

I love this song so I got all happy when I heard it :D

eAnybody notice the graphics? There's definitely better, crisper textures (at least on PS4). Looks even more next-genish now. EDIT: Just read the earlier post on this, so it's not just me! Great!

 

Moreover, there's way more blood spatter. I shotgunned a cop's face and there was ridiculous spatter all over the wall.

 

The Casco is fast as sh*t fully modded, possibly at or near Z-type speeds.

 

Chrome rims are insanely expensive but look really cool.

 

The Prison Raid finale is sort of glitched- sometimes you just can't lose the cops, no matter what.

Did One via charles and cost 100k now. Quite ridiculous.
