We don't have it because we didn't buy the same game twice. We gave them a billion dollars but what have we done for them recently. And don't even get me started on how we got screwed out of first person view!

If I remember correctly, Rockstar themselves said they could have added First Person view to past gen, but they left it aside because they were busy with "more important things"

Don't have a source, but I'm pretty sure I read that before.

 

 

I hate 1st person games in general, but after seeing the motorcycle dash in 1st person being a sportbike rider, gotta admit it looked pretty sweet..

Even if I was willing to buy this game twice, I opted out of consoles entirely once Sony decided to start charging for online. I already paid for the game and the Playstation, they ain't getting another cent from me to play it.

 

There's also a first-person glitch you can do at the ferris wheel. Too bad it goes away if you leave the area... But it just proves that they COULD give last-gen first-person view. They just choose not to.

I doubt they will. Microsoft has been charging for online for YEARS, and players still clamber to pay it. So Sony thinks, "Hey, why can't we do the same?" So they do, and players yet again clamber to pay it...

 

Sure, $50 spread out over a year amounts to less than a dollar paid per week of said year, but it's the principle that counts. They say the yearly fee is needed because of server costs...Which I call bullsh*t on because Rockstar, like all other game companies, have their own damn servers. Everyone who argues the contrary is quick to point out all the "free games" you get with yearly subscriptions, and the discounts, and early demos or whatever, which is perfectly fine if you're happy paying the fee. But maybe some of us don't WANT any of those things. Maybe some of just just want to put out $60 game inside of our $400 console, sign in through out $40 a month internet and play the online portion of the GAME WE F*CKING PAID FOR!

 

Like the Nerd would say, it brings my piss to a boil.

All the above = why there's 87 people waiting for the PS3 update... wishing they had a PS4... But that's their evil plan !!!!!!

And updates go earlier on PS4/X1 probably because of the much larger size? Or maybe just Sony/Microsoft different update schedule on PS4/X1.

Nearly 3am and still nothing here, either. If the PS3 update is 4GB as well, I'd like to start the download ASAP, because it'll take a full day with my internet speed.

 

And that's if I don't run into any "unexpected" network errors causing it to start all over again.
