How are we joining the heist? Do we have to call Lester? Is there matchmaking?

I hope there's matchmaking. None of my friends play this anymore, or the ones that do have moved onto Xbox One. I have a PS4, but don't want to start over from scratch. Also, when it comes out for PC, I'll be able to xfer my XBOX data to that, right?

It'll work the same as contact missions. You'll go to jobs under the pause menu (or you'll get a text message asking you to join the heist), you can either host or join one. It'll display all the ones you've unlocked only.

 

You'll start with only one, likely unlocked after talking to lester as his house for a cutscene. After each successful heist, you'll unlock the next one. Completing all of them will reward you a lot of cash

 

 

There will likely be matchmaking, unlike Destiny's raid system, so don't worry about that.

According to the GTA 5 o'clock there are no cooldowns. All the heist leader would have to do is go to the green H in the planning room. He might have to do manual invites, though.
