I don't know about a Subaru being the "king of rally". Several other vehicles stand a better chance at holding that title. For instance the Ford Cosworth and Escort, the original Mini Cooper S, the Lancia 037, Stratos, and Integrale, the Audi Sport Quattro, the Alpine-Renault A110 1600, the Volvo PV444/544, the Citreon C4 and Xsara, and the Peugeot 205. The Subaru and Mitsubishi's get an honorable mention at best.

Once I saw Cosworth, Quattro and Lancia I found new hope for this thread and its lack of car knowledge.

 

Which I didn't want, ignorant fools like Calimeat boy commenting on this thread, which is now likely bound to be locked. It's comical.

I think you can order them through dealerships. dont quote me though. i think they come as a stripped down wrx sti (maybe better motor) and you put in you're own roll cage and stuff to suit the competion you are in. not talking about factory backed teams.

 

my two cents on the rally legend thing you cant compare group b cars to other rally cars, they are on a whole nother level.

 

But (and im no subie fanboy (rotars yes)) but the wrx has been doing it and winning/competing for around 15 years, of the top of my head i cant think of another model of car that has done it for so long. when they started dominating the other jap manufacturers dropped out mazda, nissan even toyota.

Nice Sultan, one of my favorite cars. Too bad the Subie scoop is carbon only. I've tried to make mine closest to the WRX as possible. And I disagree, it is mixed with old STi and Is300.

 

I also like how we both have rally tags.

which is why i do not really consider them as being "like the real life counter parts" sure the cars in the game look and remind me of RL cars, but i just see them as what they are in the game. a Karin Futo is just that a Karin Futo to me, not a Toyota AE86 or whatever you want to see it as.

i wont argue with that. but i will add there aint much difference between 4 and 5 lights. (i just googled it to double check and i cant see the difference, that being said none of the pictures were marked very well (i could have been comparing evo 5 taillights with evo 5 taillights)).

Yeah the only thing in this game that actually drives like a rally car is the rusty Rebel. Try it out. The handling is one of the best.
