I don't know about a Subaru being the "king of rally". Several other vehicles stand a better chance at holding that title. For instance the Ford Cosworth and Escort, the original Mini Cooper S, the Lancia 037, Stratos, and Integrale, the Audi Sport Quattro, the Alpine-Renault A110 1600, the Volvo PV444/544, the Citreon C4 and Xsara, and the Peugeot 205. The Subaru and Mitsubishi's get an honorable mention at best.

Once I saw Cosworth, Quattro and Lancia I found new hope for this thread and its lack of car knowledge.

Which I didn't want, ignorant fools like Calimeat boy commenting on this thread, which is now likely bound to be locked. It's comical.

"King of rallying" lol.

Sorry, JMO. New gen WRX is a perfect balanced rally king in my book.

Apart from different opinions, please post your rally inspired cars or don't bother commenting.

I'm glad you choice to show your ignorance. The Peugeot 205 has 16 WRC victories all between 1984-1986.

Hey bright boy, that's the 205 Rallyeye, a big difference. Like saying an Impreza is a WRX. Who's really ignorant?

Anyways, going to report posts that are off-topic, including yours.

Yep, because they pull Subaru's right off the factory floor and onto the track without making any modifications what so ever. You got me.

No, Einstein, it's not a modded 205, it's a completely different variant. :sigh:

So a WRC Subaru Impreza WRX STI is purchasable from the dealership?

What does this have to do with anything? Lol, sorry pal, I don't consider this a proper reply.Stupid argument, the Evo has been proven to be better.

Ok, so it's 2% Impreza and 98% Evo.

For the second time, Impreza is no longer WRX!!! It is 0% Impreza! The only Evo I see is the overall boxiness look, everything is Subie IMO.

Well IMO, the ultimate rally machine is the Panto.

So basically you called the Kuruma a Subie, right?

"With the new Karin Kuruma coming tomorrow, the king of rallying is arriving, the new Subaru WRX."

It's actually an evo/subie mix, no cars are single bred in GTA.

I understand that but I see 0% Subie in the Kuruma.

For starters, the giant wing on the back is the famous "boy racer" STi. The vented hood is also 100% Subie.

karin-kuruma.jpg

WRX STi

2015_Subaru_STi_37.jpg

Evo

2015-Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-engine.

The only thing the new car has in common with a Subaru is the retarded spoiler and the hood vent. Everything else, including but not limited to, the headlights, the body line of the rear quarter panel, the shape of the A, B, and C pillars, the slight flare over the fender arches, are all closer to that of the Evo.

Now the spoiler and hood vent are retarded? Boy, you sure sour, aren't ya? The roof is Evo, it's whole boxy cornered look, but that's about it. Main details aren't. Don't take note of the paintjob, I'm talking body style only.

Let me make it simple for you.

The Peugeot 205 and the Impreza are both stock vehicles purchasable from the factory. The versions used in rally racing are not stock versions. So your argument that the 205 is not the same as the rally version is also true for the Subaru. I understand that you want to be right, but please understand, cars are my lively hood. I repair, restore, and customize vehicles of all makes, models, and years. I live, eat, sleep cars. This is what I do for a living. But please, if you must, continue arguing with me.

the car is about 50/50 split

Not. It's 90% Evo, 10% Scubaru

I could piece the evo and Kuruma together if i really tried. I did a 30 second edit

The headlights are Evo, the fender flares are Evo, the body lines over the rear quarter panel are Evo. On a second look the A, B, and C pillars are almost indentical on both the Evo and the Impreza. From the picture available, the tail lights are Evo. The front clip is Evo. The only thing that even could be called an Impreza part is the hood scoop, and the spoiler.

Ok, cut that, I'm not trying to be mean.

Do you know what car variants are?

The Legacy:

Legacy 2.0(A)

Legacy 2.0(A)- MI

Legacy 2.0(A) R (few seconds faster than both 0-60)

ALL DIFFERENT VARIANTS.

Again, the WRX and WRX STi are different variants. These are not just the same cars with little upgrades, they are like different subspecies per se. Got it?

It's funny how you think "nerd" is an insult. If it wasn't for "nerds" you wouldn't have a computer, the internet, video games, tv's, cellphones, this forum, etc. But continue living your life thinking that nerd is an insult.

But to correct you on something, I'm a gearhead/grease monkey, not a nerd.

Your whole shape is warped. The car's body is simply different and more STi like than you would like to want it to be, clearly.

How the actual fish is that more STI than EVO? (Besides the license plate holder and spoiler)

I guess you just aren't cut out for that "living".

Got it?

the car is about 50/50 split

Not. It's 90% Evo, 10% Scubaru

I could piece the evo and Kuruma together if i really tried. I did a 30 second edit

Lol this proves my point exactly, complete mismatch. You just warped the car and made it fat.

The main body is Subaru.

Here:

A matte black STi

Near perfect match to the Kuruma.

Nope, If I put the Impooza's spoiler and hood on the Evo, it's 100% Identical to the Kuruma so... It's more Evo than Scubaru

Lol, not an impreza, nor an "impooza".

And no, it's not a 100% perfect match, not even close. Looks like a bloated, short and fat STi, and a fat Kuruma.

You need your eyes checked then. Either way, it's like 10% wrx std

Lol, if you say so.

Like I already said, taillights and roof shape which "boxes" the car somewhat is Evo. The main body, hood, and spoiler however, is nearly 100% STi.

Thecomrade9 changed my mind its more like 10 percent evo 90 percent sti

Thanks. Glad you see the truth as well. Definitely mainly STi based. :)

The OP asked for in-game pics, you guys just f*cked it up.

Yup.. too little too late with some people on this board. I really wanted to see GTA rally inspired vehicles as well.
