jweaver Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Does anyone know if there is going to be a "patch" to accompany the "Heists" taking us to 1.06? I would assume that there will be one and am hoping we might see some fixes/changes to SP as well as MP Heists. Personally i am hopful that we will get the Bonnet camera back... And would be greatful for any fixes/features/tweeks... But i am starting to doubt that there will be an update as such as i would have expected that to roll out already..... But from what I have seen (unless the pics were fake) the heist "update" is dowloaded from inside the game... like it is when you install the PSN "digital" version. Is there actually going to be an update delivered by the normal method of patching games (i.e when it happen via the PS XMB). From everything i have read/seen it appears that the Heist update will download from "inside" GTA. This is different to how every other patch works and is more like "DLC" than an update. I know exactly what you are trying to say and, considering the IGN article is calling it a "patch", I think its pretty safe to say that there will indeed be a traditional game update 1.07. Also, I'm pretty certain that a dev can't add trophies/acheivements to a game without a traditional update. Edit: Also, as CarlitoDorito said below, every DLC released for GTA Online so far has been accompanied by a patch, so theres that.
