Not sure, but I had access to the first festive stuff two days before the recent Festive Update was re-released. But now I have no Valentine's day masks, and can only put dresses on my female character on in a store (and they disappear when I leave the game).

It's simple, the updates are downloaded from MS and sony controlled stores, the will not get put on those stores until they have been tested, and approved.

 

Oh and if you want proof my eldest step son worked for EA.

 

The reason some people have it earlier is that the have been able to switch the console over into development mode and download the files, but nobody has been able to play anything yet.

The reason I asked, if anyone else had bothered to even consider me having a reason, is that I know from previous experience the PS3 downloads came directly from Rockstar servers. I know that because I quite often had my PS3 going through a proxy server and the logs shows the download sources for all the updates. None of them were Sony, unless Sony now have servers with the name "Rockstar" in the domain name.

 

I'm going to do the same with the update tomorrow so I can see for myself. Other than this 1 level-headed response it's proven pretty pointless to try and raise a technical question with some of the morons on this forum.
