The Algerian
So, if I remember correctly, when you bought a helicopter back on PS3/360, you could not choose the color. And on top of that, you had to pay 1000$ to get it delivered and it wasn't even delivered to your location but to some helipad. I don't see what was the point of even buying a helicopter then, since you could spare yourself the expense of paying for the actual helicopter and get one by paying Merryweather 1000$ to deliver one to your exact location and throw the pilot out of it. Is it still the same thing now on CurrentGen?

I own every single chopper and it only costs $200 NOT $1000. The $1000 is for Merryweather to deliver right to you. The Algerian

I thought it was 1000$ for some reason.

reform
They still get delivered to hellipads, but the number of hellipads they can be delivered to has increased since initial release. There's only 2 or 3 areas on the map where it can still be a hassle to get to a hellipad.

JokerSmokerToker
It used to be 1k for a pegasus delivery, then rockstar changed it some time ago, i honestly cant remember when it happened exactly, but to get anything from pegasus, itll run you 200$. Ghost XB
Well unless your going to helicopter shows color isn't really that big of a deal. Its $200 to deliver which means that you can get 5 delivered for the price of 1 merryweather chopper. Some Choppers (Such as the Buzzard) are faster then the Merryweather Chopper. Attack choppers (Buzzard and if your skilled Annihilator) make missions a lot easier (Most missions) so yeah they r worth it.

Still is $1,000 for Merryweather on PS3 as of last night (pre-1.21 patch). The benefit of Merryweather vs. Pegasus is to-you delivery, though there is still a bug that can keep Merryweather from picking you up even in places where the pilot can land (chopper will hover 30-40 feet above the player, but not land; then the pilot will eventually get mad at you and fly away). The biggest benefit of Pegasus besides being cheaper of course is you can order any armed chopper you own, such as the Buzzard.
