Why cant you buy different houses?

That would be hard to implement, since multiple players can technically live in the same apartment. Not to mention a lot of the mansions and high end homes are already "owned" by pedestrians.

Hell.......if that is too much trouble for them to give us mansions to buy, I would be quite happy buying a giant warehouse that could hold 30-40 cars and don't need any windows.

I don't see why they can't do this really. Some of the purchasable properties in Paleto Bay have gardens for example. If people don't mind the fact that all the other kids are running about on their lawn - go right ahead.

 

Given the choice, I'd go for the giant warehouse option for 30-40 cars sooner than the giant mansion option though.

Some live outside the houses in Paleto Bay so it works.

I'd give up all my houses and trade it in for a black van if we were given the option to sneak in NPC's houses late at night and rob them.

 

Actually I wouldn't rob them I'd just beat them in their sleep within an inch of their life.

Apparently if Rockstar wanted this in their game they would have implemented it already, but there's still the future I guess...
