CRAZYGTASAINT
It's the Rockstar Studios logo and not the Rockstar North logo, even though it doesn't make much sense having a kilt texture when the Studios are worldwide. Is "Rockstar Studios" just another name for "Rockstar Games" and if so, then why did they use both logos in the GTA trailer??? I Googled "Rockstar Studios" and it simply came up Rockstar Games. It's just another name for them, I suppose. Yeah, It probably is but then why would they put both logos next to each other into the trailer? Unless the tartan logo was originally for Rockstar North. You may be interested in this article. It says the textile designs are "a special nod to Rockstar North". Maybe the quilt design was proposed for Rockstar North and that's why both are on the trailer?

"r_tartan" from mphud.xtd I know that you posted this 5 years ago, but could you tell me where is mphud.txd located?

Are any of these textures featured in the game? Edit: I also wonder if that kilt styled Rockstar logo exists in higher quality, because the one inside mphud.ytd is only 64x64. They were presumably from an older UI that would've used your Rockstar Social Club avatar in place. Back then the default would always fall back to a Rockstar logo, sadly since then they've redone the website a few times but you can find the latest revisions of the Rockstar Logos here: https://www.rockstargames.com/downloads?collection=6&series=
RGF
Today I visited this thread again and I realised that when I opened the link, user Error2k posted, in new tab, the website didn't load, but I was able to see it in Webarchive. It shows the tartan logo in 128x128 size (https://cdn.sc.rockstargames.com/images/avatars/128x128/Exclusives/R_tartan.png), but I'd like to get it in 256x256, so I changed the url to "https://cdn.sc.rockstargames.com/images/avatars/256x256/Exclusives/R_tartan.png", but there were no results, so I decided to change the url to "https://cdn.sc.rockstargames.com/images/avatars/" and many results showed up, but for some reason when I clicked on some of them, it showed me a blank page.
