Hopefully, it will have good Ambient Occlusion settings (HBAO+ is a must for me) and last but not least, I hope it will be optimised. If you play mainly on consoles I can sort of see how one might think that the PC version looks "too sharp", but a vaseline smeared texture is not how a texture is suppose to look. The fact is that "console vs. PC" shouldn't even be a debate, PC is better (especially because of modding). I've played PC's GTA San Andreas for 10 years thanks to mods (I've even made some, like this: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=12215) and in my PS2 I've finished it twice and it's got boring after that, although, graphically, PS2's version is better than PC's. But probably you were just a baby back in 2004 when it was released... I'm pretty sure you have posted that kind of image every topic you could so I recommend you to stop that bullsh*t and start discussing like decent people. @Bodge: Maybe you're right, I don't know, it just feels better for me: I felt the same way, as I said above, playing SA and that maybe happened with IV too once I often see people ranting about how bad was the PC port (I haven't enjoyed the Xbox's version of the game so I haven't even bothered to play it for PC, therefore I can't say if it's true or not). I had to use the -norestrictions commandline to get it to let me change the settings. It also detected that I only had 3GB of vram despite having way more than that and couldn't reach 60 fps maxed out on an overclocked 6 core Xeon. After starting up IV again a few days ago I can't wait for V now. I seriously hope Rockstar gets it right with V, if not the internet will burn. _MK_ Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) The PS4's shadows are way too dark plus it's blurry and above that SMOG making it worse,dont get why they had to put SMOG in the first place..just makes everything look bright/whiter/blurred,the PC version has it with a lower tune,personally find it very annoying already sent a couple of email's to R* asking for an option to disable it,if not then it's the ol usual way. It looks way better than PC on the city shot with Franklin for some reason though. Must be with the increased draw distance that makes the lod look worse because the PC version is more sharper? I'll be honest. I have no idea what im talking about. The city screen is the only one that PC looks worse in imo tho.
