Giving most of their current track record with trailers is flying off cliffs, not making it three blocks before exploding like a bad Michel Bay movie, or finding the most creative way to roll/flip/lodge the trailer in the most ridicules and time consuming manner.

well, it shouldn't be hard to drive, in the satellite mission from ron, or trevor, i use the shortest path, which is a dirt road that has me going near the edge, with its very tight right-hander. after going down from the top of the hill.

what i think personally kills those missions, are the NPC's ramming into you(god forbid they go under you, from your front wheels, since it explodes short after-backwheels let you get away with it, if your fast enough), those short fuse suicide bikers, with an even shorter fuse of a bike.

What is surprising are missions that pass--and pass well!

All you have to do is disconnect the trailer and fight the bikers until they stop spawning. they're not unlimited.

 

Either that, or have a player ride ontop of the trailer and shoot the bikers with an MG

 

OR

 

have players ride alongside the trailer and ram bikers with their own cars.

 

 

 

Trailer missions are only difficult if you play them alone, because for some reason the trailers sometimes explode.. for absolutely no reason.

I've just decided I won't do Heists if people I can't rely on aren't on. There's just too many things that can go wrong with randoms lol, and the communication would be awful. Of course you get the occasional good team, but I don't see that happening tomorrow.

Find randoms befriend them then scout their better traits, bam you have a tea and that's what the leader position is for. Also note if they d/c a lot then don't even friend them.

I like to drive down the mountain side. It really freaks people out but there is a natural road in the mountain that you can follow as long as you ride the brakes. Off road all the way in Satellite Communications.

Isn't this exactly why there are roles per heist mission that have to be assigned to players?

This really shouldn't be a problem with semi-competent teammates.

 

I'll agree that most people mess up badly with trucks and trailers, but I've also seen plenty who knew what they were doing in public missions. A decent amount of them were really punishing the truck, but in a way that seemed like they knew exactly how far they could push it without losing or destroying the trailer.

 

Don't worry about it for heists! You're not going to assign someone to drive it if they're not confident, are you?

Most of the time in trailer missions the people that are supposed to be escorting the trailer race off the the finish point in their zens and leave the truck driver to do the rest of the mission. so it's pretty much like playing solo lol.

I just drive the truck and trailer to the back of the Sisyphus Theater parking lot, hop out and make a stand at the loading dock. Once the Lost are all killed, it's a leisurely drive to Sandy Shores.
