Does anyone actually use the cigarettes in online? Seems like a useless addition, every other item you can buy from convenience stores has a use, ie healing.

The Smoking is really unrealistic.

1. They just smokes it, doesn't light it.

2. Apparently smoking about 3 cigs whilst moving can kill you

I use the smoking animation when communicating. Not sure what it means to other players, run me over seems to be the translation

It makes me look cooler so I can blend in with the "cool" crowd. But yes they have no use whatsoever.

I love the ability to smoke and drink. It adds to the depth of the game. Try it at a car meet our some kind of get together in game.

Like, eating snacks, drinking soda and smoking cigarettes as a victory actually uses the item, or at least you need one to do it.

- It looks good on photos

- You can have fun with it, like saying "I swear, thats my last one" to other ppl and get killed by it. (Low health required)

Smoking slowly takes your health away. Pisswasser makes you pass out and respawn in a random location.

Nope. drinking enough alcohol of any kinds makes you respawn at the nearest hospital.. (obviously following a virtual gastric lavage)..

It's funny, my first character smokes on occasion and has a sh*t load of redwoods in his inventory. He will pick up redwoods from dead enemies.

 

My second character is a non-smoker. I took the time to drop all the cigarettes from her inventory, now she doesn't pick them up from dead enemies. Her inventory remains devoid of cigarettes.

 

Seems you have a choice of whether or not your character is a smoker.

I hate smoking in real life. Never touched a cig. But I do it in the game occasionally. When I get to an objective first and I'm waiting in my team, I like to lean on a wall and light one up like a 'cool' kid from high school.
