Was this a smart idea on R*'s part? Or is this just asinine?

I think its usual cheek from R* as they expect this will come up during the heists as someone

somewhere would do it, therefore gives an excuse for all players to get a reward for it.

 

Nothing wrong with the idea but guess we'll find out what the players think soon.

LOL, the funny thing is, I feel the exact same way. This will be the first achievement I get & I'm seriously considering running with 2 friends and always leaving that 4th spot open for a random pug & just give them 0% everytime.

 

So glad they put this ability into place to troll people.

I like how everyone is being greedy here and saying "this will be the first thing I get" doing it to randoms - No it won't, as the members have to ready up for the heist first. You cannot just slap 0% after the heist. They know what they are getting and will leave, meaning the heist can never start.

 

Best bet is doing this at the tutorial heist for 2 players with a friend.

I thought the % is only decided on the actual heist part at the end, no idea what information will actually show up.

 

I guess we'll see, but if there's a legit chance to stuff people out of money in the trolliest way possible, then you best believe half of us will be doing it.

Excellent idea.

 

Anyone who would try it once, will be forever flagged as unreliable for those who bother to check his achievements.

the good thing is that you'll see your own cut before the start of the heists,you can always back out if you want,but if i see the leader doing that stuff i just go allong with it and fail the heist on purpose over and over again so he will lose his cover money
