h0r4ex
Hello guys. I see this topic http://gtaforums.com/topic/765990-bug-list-with-solutions/i read Problem #5: Infinite loading screen Infinite loading screen / stuck on installing(the loading icon keeps spinning, usually the loading images stop moving / installation isn't progressing)Solution:-Gently clean the disc with a soft, preferably microfibre, cloth - even if it's brand new. It's worth trying a new disc, as this problem is commonly a disc fault-If this doesn't work, delete the game data, turn off the console, unplug all the cables and wait for a few seconds; plug the cables in and install.-Loading the game while disconnected from the internet can help-Clear your game data utility (Settings > Storage Management > Applications) reinstall and then boot up the game again.(Source - RedDagger, Kampret, Johan, Rockstar) I make all but game still stuck in installed. Can you help me ? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/771605-gta-v-stuck-in-installed/ Share on other sites
RedDagger
If you're able to borrow a working disc to try, you could try that. Also, see if you can install on a different storage device. Also, it may help, what console do you have and how much storage space do you have/free storage space? Muilisx
When this happens, it's usually due to a corrupted save. HOWEVER, this happened to me after upgrading my HDD and my save was NOT corrupted. I had to delete the game data, reinstall the game, and then it worked. If that doesn't work then what you do is copy your save to a USB flash drive, delete the saved data off the PS3/PS4, load the game as if you just bought it and playing it for the first time, this will make the game finally load. Once it loads, close the game down, copy your save back to the system, and then load the game again and it should load into your save just fine as long as it's not corrupted. RedDagger
If you are talking about the installation from the disc, are you able to just install directly from the disc - without using another PS3? RedDagger
I'm not too sure if PS3 allows you to copy game data, it should tell you if it'll transfer or copy.
