wez123
Adding a spoiler apparently increases traction. Adding a wheel to the front of the dubsta, does that put more weight on the front? Which would make you lose traction on the back? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/771562-dubsta-6x6/ Share on other sites
Maya Echo Visari
You can put a spoiler on a Dubsta 6x6? *edit* sorry I reacted too quickly. You're looking to dumb the Dubsta's grip so it handles corners less like an APC I imagine. I don't think the spare tire does anything besides add a little protection at the windshield. wez123
I like the idea of the tyre adding a little protection from the front, hadn't thought of that. But ye was just wanting to know if the tyre had weight to it like the spoilers do on others cars Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/771562-dubsta-6x6/#findComment-1067081265 Share on other sites
Maya Echo Visari
It might. I'm not sure. But I really don't think so. Your best bet is to just try it out in Singleplayer if you haven't bought it for Online already. Here's some numbers if you want to further investigate it. Nothing for hood modifications though: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0An9rbDOns6DhdFNlYzBPLXFjeEVDY0FDUTNvcTNCVFE&type=view&gid=0&f=true&colid0=1&filterstr0=DUBSTA%206x6&colid1=54&filterstr1=No&sortcolid=32&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=250 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/771562-dubsta-6x6/#findComment-1067081289 Share on other sites
XJohny_VercettiX
My opinion is the type of tires you choose does affect how your car/truck performs. I find tuner tires have the most grip where as sports tires have a bit more drift to them. If you are looking for more grip, try slapping on some tuner tires on the 6x6. First of, thats not his question. Second. ALL tires have the same grip. Only difference is the amount of sidewall to them. Off-road damps more over curbs then high-end for example, so for races always use off-road, for looks do as you like. To answer OP's question. I doubt an extra wheel would change anything performance-wise because it's a cosmetic thing, not a performance part. Armor for example changes nothing, but a full armor should add weight realisticly. (glad it doesn't though) Edited March 9, 2015 by KoBo_043 s13racer316, Maya Echo Visari and wez123 3 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/771562-dubsta-6x6/#findComment-1067081577 Share on other sites
