Why bother with randoms if you're posting here on the forums? Go to a recruitment/meet-up sub, and hook up with some other players (who are likely also in need of prospective team-mates). Sorted - never have to deal with an rando fumbling a job ever again!

Heh - my team-mates can't actually hear me speak at all (no headset - I've got hearing issues...)!

 

That's why forum organisation's great (not just for GTAO, either - I've done it for Halo, MMOs, etc.) - you can get everything organised via Private Messages beforehand, and then just stick to the plan when you get in-game.

 

Can personally recommend this to anyone who might have issues with spoken communication - remember that it's not the only means of communication at your disposal! A silent/quiet team isn't necessarily a disorganised team...

I play alone and prefer it, I have a few friends that join and we mess around in free roam. I really don't care that much about heists coming out, I never have. The constant speculation posts kinda ruined it for me too... Maybe I am crazy but Im not that bothered if I miss out. Looking forward to the new vehicles though

I will be doing Heist on random. I'm met some really good people doing on call missions so I have faith that Heists will not be a problem with randoms.

 

Edit: As a side note. If anyone locks view to first person, I will ruin every heist mission. I don't care about the money but I do care about my point of view.

Play with randoms all the time, most of the time completed mission/surival.

I agree with the OP as well... and think it's funny how bothered people are by it. Haha. As for how playing heists solo can be done, well, as easily as it's done in SP.

After spending most of my time in heists solo and getting matched up with randoms, I have to say that playing solo will do just enough for you to get through the heists and unlock the vehicles.

 

If you're looking to use heists as a way to grind for money, get the elite challenges, or the criminal mastermind challenge...yeah, good luck with that solo players.

I'm on the same boat as you, OP. I have absolutely noone to play with let alone grind for achievements/other rewards. And I just can't stand the randoms who mess up half the time.

 

I was hoping that there will be an AI option but it seems like it's players only. Worse of all, most vehicles are heist-unlocked.

 

 

...at least I'll have a Kuruma (unless it's locked for whatever stupid reason too).

Also, if you happen to have access to two consoles, a decent setup, and proper multitasking skills, you can, in fact, complete the Fleeca Bank Heist essentially solo to unlock the Kuruma.

 

You will have a difficult go at completing the Elite Challenges for it, however.

 

Also, why am I now curious in seeing what Giantsgiants' Kuruma... nevermind. Don't show me.

I wish I could play all the heists alone. some players are too greedy and others too stupid to do a simple job. I know there are exceptions but they are not easy to find.

Do not expect to get rich quick from heists with randoms. Good luck with that. If you are in need of lots of cash quick, you will be better off with solo mission grinding.

I play my missions with random people 98% of the time and rarely had any issues with trolls. I'm on the ps3

There's nothing I hate more than when games make the best things in the game unavailable without teammates...

Anyway I think rockstar doesnt realize how hard it can be to actually start a goddamned heist, I can easily go a whole afternoone waiting in the lobby for people to join, get my hopes up when some do, and then back to waiting when they leave while still choosing the clothing.

 

Also, I'm guessing there's like 5 million people hosting heists and something like 100 thousand joining them, considering the all in order 1 million bonus is a huge reason not to join other people's heists.

 

Anyway I'll see if I can someone here in the forum, I just registered just for that... if you're interested, I have a mic and speak good english and italian, got an armored car, heist vest and bulletproof helmet and will let you use all of them too if I'm hosting.

I'm sure you realize by now you have to do the heists to get the goodies.
