Why do people obsess over Lime Green/Pink/Bright Color

Why do people go crazy over the ugliest, flashiest looking things? Lime green looks ugly on any car IMO, but every wjere I see it's just Lime Green/Pink/Any ugly bright color.

Sublime green is IMO the best color for challenger, and Verde Ithaca looks awesome on Lamborghinis

Bright colors look okay on the right cars. But the cars that usually have bright colors (mainly supers) look like Crayola took a sh*t.

Never thought about doin this to my Vacca (btw, I'm not a 12 yr old squeaker).

 

All my supers are nice bright colors. I don't drive them often. My regular cars are matte white or matte black with frost white pearl.

I'd say it's because they are among the most expensive colors, suggesting people like to "flash" their wealth, much like the chrome craze early in GTAO's timeline.

Also, they are bright which attracts attention, suggesting a brazen, bravado approach to the gameplayer's style.

 

Finally, personal preference, whether old or young, certainly plays a big part. People just like bright colored Hot Wheels.

Face it, 82% of vehicles on the road today, in real life, are non-colored cars – grey, white, silver, and black.
In a fantasy world where you can have hot pink, lime green, or ultra blue for your car color... well, why the heck not?

It depends on the car mostly. A few exotics actually look nice with the neon bright colors, most other cars don't. I do have this Bifta though

I have a Turismo that's a mix of Lime Green and Racing Green. My Hakachou is of the same mix, and I have a number of cars that are Hot Pink with Wine Red secondary.

 

On the flip side I have lots cars that darker colors as well.

 

Just cause you hate it doesn't mean everyone does. That's like say if i hated cheese then you should to. lol
