Bad sport player in a non-BS mission?

So I was just playing RR with randoms, I'm going after the documents when this guy randomly runs out in front of my car. Poor shirtless fella in a dunce cap gets sent flying through the air. I know I'm not a bad sport and nobody else in my missions have been wearing dunce caps.

Can anyone offer an explanation for this? I'm on Xbone btw

Played a TDM the other day with a fellow on my team in a dunce cap. I guess that once a player hits BS or dodgy status, they have to play nice in missions, races, and DM's with good sports for a while until they get to clean status.

Modders most likely, you can easily put on the dunce cap with a mod menu.

I remember when people used to run around wearing all white with that hat.

If you get bad sport, the cap automatically appears. You can remain in a regular lobby until you switch sessions.

I have the Dunce Cap on my character on PS4, after returning from Bad Sports never change headgear (I believe also applies to masks).
