DrMuffn Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Hello again After i got a few installation problems done, i'm (or better said was) happy to at least run the game. I bought a steam key today, downloaded the game and first had troubles to play it after the installation finished. Now these issues are solved again and i can run the game normally ... BUT The problem is that I can only play with max. 15 FPS even though my PC is actually good enough to manage 30+ FPS. I had this problem also in the past. I believe it's because i have an ATI graphic card. I read a lot about issues and optimzation problems regarding ATI GPUs. I also tried to run the game with an ENB version ( )which surprisingly didn't cause much lower fps than the unmodified game. It all just looks extremely ugly. I don't have anti-aliasing at all. The edges on every object look - also with ENB - as hard and square as stairs. To show my specs: - GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6970 (2Gb) (fresh driver actualization) - 8 GB RAM - CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2,5Ghz - Windows 7 64 bit - Harddrive: Samsung HD103UJ ATA It should be actually able to run GTA IV smoothly ... even with very high graphic settings and ENB If anyone knows how i could increase the FPS of GTA IV and how i could improve the sh*tty graphic-look (even with ENB), it would be very kind to tell me what to do Thanks in advance, DrMuffn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Curiously enough my game runs kind of smooth since i implemented the sweetFX (for SMAA) on the game.
