GTA V android?

Recommended Posts

I know it sounds like a silly topic, and I know it will never be a reality, however, considering now there are mobile devices more powerful than PS3 and xbox 360, do you think it would be techincally possible to port the ps3 version to android? Just a silly question that popped into my mind

... considering now there are mobile devices more powerful than PS3 and xbox 360

Is this a fact or just your opinion. I can't think of any mobile device that could run games with the same performance levels, even of last gen consoles.

It's a fact, I'm not asking about it

So, tell me, which mobile device could run GTA V as smoothly and efficiently as a PS3 / Xbox 360... all that traffic and peds, the whole map, the weapon wheel, all those radio stations etc etc etc etc??

I think he's talking about cloud streaming PS3/PS4 games to a Smartphone/Tablet. Something Sony was working on.

Port? No.

However, if you have a PS4, you can get a modified RemotePlay apk and stream any of your games to any android device. However, it does take some effort to get it set up properly, and you'll also need a solid, fast home network in order to avoid latency issues. Also, you must have a rooted phone.

If you'd like to know more, pm me.

Actually there's a Remote Play port that's capable to run from Android 2.3 to Lollipop without any issue and non-root. Even works with a cheap 2.4ghz Wifi connection (Althought a 5ghz signal is needed to play it in high def). You can download it from XDA Developers and sideload it to your device. I'm using it in my Note 4 right now and works just fine.

EDIT: Also, Its really easy to install. Just grab the apk, install it, put your PSN account and you're good to go!

My mistake... I thought it required root. I know that with my device (AT&T GS4) it took some effort to get it working right. It did require root because in order to play over 4G LTE I had to use an Xposed Module (Fake WiFi Connection). Also, it can be quite difficult to get the buttons mapped correctly.

sure, onscreen buttons are a bit akward to play, if you want to use your DS4 you must be rooted and use Dualshock Manager available in the same page as thw RPlay app is. Hook your control holding the PS Button + Share for a couple of seconds until the device recognizes it. As for the fake wifi, I never tried it. I will put my hands on it when Xposed will be compatible with Samsung Lollipop roms..

Grand Theft Auto 5 for android is available as a GTA SA Visa Mod. Visa mod converts gta san andreas to GTA 5 on Android. You can follow instructions and download it here [removed]
