How will you distribute heist payout?

Recommended Posts

What do you think the most fair way to distribute payout and the way most people will want/accept?

25% each person seems the best way, but if the leader has a high upfront cost maybe the leader should get more? Perhaps 55% and 15% for the other 3? Or, 40% for the leader and 20% for the other 3? What do you think will be the go to way of doing this?

Ok what I propose as the most fair method:

[Heist up front costs paid by leader / Total Heist Payout] = X

25% + X = heist leader payout

[100 - (25% + X)] / 3 = other heist members payout

When I'll host everyone will get 25% because experiencing heists & making sure everyone will be satisfied is more important to me than making money from heists. I can easily make money from contact missions. I don't need heists for that.

i'll only be playing with crew/friends and due to the fact that i already have more $$$ than i need ( even after the 8 mill for heist stuff)

the most i'll be taking is 10% to cover costs the rest goes to those that need it

But the leader has to pay for the gear beforehand right? So if he's out 500.000 GTA$, then he should be compensated.

A question: If I and 3 others start a heist where the money for the gear is to be payed up front, and keep in mind that we're all in the level 80 to 120 range, but we're broke, does that mean that we can't play the heists?

talking about % cut...

what about lester?

i havent read any of the heist review articles, but i wonder if any of them mention if lester takes a cut...

if you have played the story, you know lester normally takes like 75% of the loot.

100%

0%

0%

0%

Honestly though, I think

40%

20%

20%

20%

is the most fair. The other 3 members will get money from each set up mission and the Heist Leader has to front money. So it balances out in the end. I might give out bonuses to whoever does well and subract 5-10% to players who are terrible or die a lot.

Cause that's how I rolllll.

Although that would have been a brilliant scheme on Rockstar's part to further reduce the amount we get from the heist, Lester doesn't appear to take a cut, no. All of the screenshots show 100% of the heist earnings being divided between the four players. It can be assumed that the money the heist leader puts forward goes to Lester, I suppose.

there are "evidence" that show that the setup fee is 10% of the total loot.

so if the target of the heist is to steal 500k you would need to front 50k for setup fee, if you dont have the money to "acquire" the equipment, you wont be able to do the heist.

therefor you wont be able to play heist.

The way our crew is going to do it, either 25% all around, or lets say, the start up fee is 10%, so the heist leader would get 35%

Ya but there is something inherently wrong with that... You get 35% then that means only 65% to go around. Meaning two of your teammates gets shafted out of 5%, assuming you go 20-20-25.

40-20-20-20 is the best all around. I would remove and subtract 5-10% accordingly to whoever does well or poorly. Keeping in mind some crew/friends might have a harder time due to their specific role.

The leader's cut is predetermined. As for the rest, I will keep it 100% equal.
