As far as I know, only restrictions are players that own the Japanese version of the game.. they'll be put into lobbies with other owners of the Japanese version. Everyone else should be fine.

Yes...You'll be put in with players from all over the world...

 

I live in the U.S and i've played with people as far away as Brazil & New Zealand.

 

You don't "choose" which servers you wanna be in you are just put i there randomly.
