Thankfully it appears the Hydra will be purchasable. I hope they make the Lazer purchasable too.

Ive been waiting too long for this Hydra. While I dont want it to be an easy target, I dont want it to

be overpowered either. I hope its on par with the Lazer.

The reviewers said the hydra was unlocked after you steal it from the carrier. It is also in the warstock website.

 

I dont know if you are trolling or just uninformed. You WILL be able to purchase the HYDRA

IF the Hydra's aren't mounted with the machine gun cannon rounds, it would really only be useful during contact missions over the Buzzard Chopper with lock on missiles and speed.

 

Free Mode however, I can see the Hydra being easier to take down than a LAZER given you can free-float the Hydra on one spot making it a perfect sky target for snipers and homing missiles. Plus you can't even auto-lock on ground players with missiles anyway, unless they are flying helicopters/planes in the air.

 

 

I'd still buy a Buzzard Chopper over the Hydra for Pegasus, because of maneuverability, ability to land on smaller areas and seating for at least 3 more people.

I mainly like it since with VTOL you can more or less land anywhere a Helicopter can i.e hide on top of buildings in Los Santos.

 

If the Hydra is over-powered or at least powerful enough to be useless useful (not sure how easy it will be to aim and shoot dual missiles while moving), you can just appear from on top of a building and be on top of targets inside a few seconds instead of being able to be seen on the entire flight from FZ unless you are Off the Radar (since you can land, get out Hydra and Icon disappears).

Hydra = spawns in your nearest airfield

 

Worth it IMHO.

 

Not if pegasus decides that fort zancudo is your nearest airfield though.

I will buy it like everything else. Will be fun to check it out, maybe get decent in it, but I don't believe it will out dogfight the lazer. I will give it the chance though and I'm sure it will jave it's uses. If it has the same spawn points as helicopters, it will be interesting. And cool to see.

Meh, couldn't care less, let the babies buy the Hydra with mum and dads money, they will be EVERYWHERE in the first couple of weeks online but it sure will be fun picking them out of the sky with the Lazer/guided missile launcher.
