[PC] San Andreas will not save my game.

I am having an issue with San Andreas where the game will not save the game AT ALL and gives me a save game failed error message in game. I have tried multiple solutions such as deleting and re-creating the User Files folder, various compatibility modes, reinstalling, and a script fix I found. No matter what, the game still fails to save. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Did you buy the DVD (v2) or the STEAM registered Down Load?

What is your Operating System (XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc.)?

Have tried a *compatibility mode* XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc?

Does your game have any mod(s) installed? Get rid of them.

If your game is the DVD installed game, are you playing with that DVD in the Drive?

If the game is the Down Load, is it properly registered with STEAM?

• 16x DVD-ROM drive (or download [which I do not recommend]

• DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card

• Keyboard & Mouse

DVD version, played with both mods I have installed and without and it will not save. Also tried compatibility and no cigar either.

 

Running Windows 7 and the DVD is in the drive and meets the recommended requirements.

Try uninstalling the game completely and re-installing it in a different location/drive.
