Pedestrian Proximity Explosion Photo Fun (Pic Heavy?)

I still suffer from the lag issue where a full lobby often empties all at once, with the "Player X left, Player Y left, Player Z left..." where I end up being the only one in the session.
This is fine for me, as I get the whole lobby to myself, much like Solo or Invite Only.

It also leaves time to explore and to find new ways to expand my GTAO entertainment experience.

The newest form, I found, is a little photo capture game I call "Pedestrian Proximity Explosions," which has is funny and fun (esp. if you're bored!).

Basically, here's how it works:

 

• find an area where NPC pedestrians frequently walk around.

• plant a proximity mine in a place where those pedestrians are likely to walk.
• step out of range.
• get your Snapmatic camera ready...
• and try to capture a shot that is worth of sharing.
• see how many you can capture in one shot, how high they go, etc.
• then, share here and let the hilarity and creativity ensue!

Not sure if this is something anyone would be interested in doing, but I'm having a "blast!"

Anyhow, just trying to mix it up and bring something fresh to the forum. Enjoy & cheers!

The girl in the green top ended up in the tree.

Poor timing on my part, but lucky Mr. Rasta-Hat guy nearly got his dreads knocked into tomorrow.


And even though you can't see the explosion here, Mr. Backpack lends a solitary wave goodbye as he takes flight!

I'm trying to get "the perfect shot," which for some reason is stupidly hard to time.


Baseball blue boy just went straight backwards. Odd to see.

I was trying to set up a cool sunset/backdrop picture but couldn't get the timing down.

Pinky Tusdcadero does a cartwheel with a ferris wheel in the back. lol!

It's funny and fun... like watching Lubby Girl here walk onto a proximity mine, which blew up the parked car, and sent her flying backwards to her demise.

Creating my own entertainment is 92% of the fun of this game!

I don't think this one was captured at the right time, but I think these two fellas were in for an explosive time.

 

So what if she was dressed for business? She had no business being there.

 

You can't see this one very well but I thought I'd put it up anyway. This Mr. Classy Clothing could not be protected from exploding though.

The street light collapsing is just great and I love that you got a 2 for 1 by the beach! That's become my favorite spot for this "game."

Mrs. Red Bottoms decided to launch in my direction (possibly seeking my protection).

And then the dude on the side decided to take on the role of Superman.

 

Edit: LOL! I have just noticed the guy in the far right of the image, dressed in black, he looks like he's taking a pee over there in the corner.

So, I finally lined up a photo in which the prox. mine explodes exactly as the pedestrian steps into its range.

 

The NPC's body position does not change, at that point, only lifts slightly off the ground.

Funny, but his body gesture mimics the one in the little street-crossing sign on the street light pole (left).

After this pic, of course, he went sailing backwards, ragdolling at its finest!



Next, to line up prox. mines from above! ooooooh! ahhhhh! Cheers!

, sorry to reply so late. what i've been doing is just watching down the street to see who's walking toward my location. i lay down a Prox. Mine and move out of the way. I open the Snapmatic app on the phone and set up the shot. I leave enough time between when the pedestrian walks into the mine range and for me to get the shot set up. Not always perfect!

I love this, @NubcakeVII – the Pink Sandwich sign and the Bomb signs, in there, are excellent!

 

Here's a new one from my neck o' the woods:

 

I followed this NPC all the way down the street. He kept bumping into things and took on a personality which I found amusing.

Eventually, I planted the prox mine and this image captures the clueless moment, a split second, before he launched upward.

My timing was just a hair off, as I wish I'd caught an expression instead of him looking off into the distance. lol!!

Okay, been up to no good again, lately.

 

Got this sweet two-for-one shot last night! Didn't expect it, as I had a wanted level and just threw the mine down in time to catch both NPCs.
