4th Apartment or Mansion with Heist update?

strange, by my knowing there are 2 normal bikes and 3 new cars, one of them a sport classic(a car group that is only more populair then compacts and bikes, nothing else)

everything else us either armored or armed or both....i dont think for a moment those things will be ever be able to be stored and insured but will be pegasus vehicles

also since we are talking about sport ish bikes most people that like those type of bikes only care about the performance of the bike in either a straight line or on track

now, seriously i woud love an extra propperty but seriously....from the load of vehicles there isnt even one confirmed to be a competitive sport or competitive super car or a muscle car(people generaly only dig those cars) and i realy dont feel like iam gonna buy everything and need more space

the kurama will simply replace my sultan if its faster and if not i dont care

the 2 bikes, well, again, i have 2 bikes already and either they are gonna replace them or dont

only thing that worries me is the guardian :)

in any case, i dont feel paniced at all and to be honest....

its only been like 2 months that we had a third property....i just dont see it happen

if it does, im of course gonna be verry happy :)(and broke before the end of the month :/)

I don't see any problems having the option to buy as many apartments as a players wants to buy. It should be in R*'s best interest to allow this.

With more place to store cars, you will have people hoarding them, which costs money not just to buy but to upgrade as well. Garages drain a lot of cash from the game and when the money runs out, some people look towards cash cards.

Oh wait, console limits...

honestly if they did that people who glitched at the bilionaire stages shoud all have completed the game by now without any further interest....even if they took all their money away

also i just know im not the only one that spended milions on cars that were bought, upgraded and then removed but came back with the release of extra properties

seriously, they are just running there economy realy efectivly :)

also i dont think console limitations are realy an isue since garages load speratly from all other stuff in freeroam :)

I would rather have a Pegasus hanger at the airport

If they offered hangers, where you could store your personal planes and helicopters, and be able to customize them... I think I would choose that over a 4th garage as well.

The only reason I don't own a ton of Pegasus aircraft is the lack of personalization. They feel too much like rentals. I'd rather just steal them.

Three garages is plenty for me, I only really use the same three cars in freeroam anyway. I wouldn't mind if they opened up one of those two extra character slots though. It's been awhile since my characters have had any unlocks to strive for.

I want a mansion but we don't need a 4th property.

You talk about "want" and "need"; do you truly understand the difference?

NOBODY "needs" a fourth garage. You say "we don't need a 4th property", but so what? Does that mean there shouldn't be the opportunity, just because we don't "need" it?

Guess what, we don't "need" mansions either. So what if I said, "We don't need mansions, so there should never be any buy able mansions in this game." How does that make you feel?

People should stop talking about what we don't need as if that means we shouldn't get what we want.

I have to admit, one of the many things that made Vice City great was getting the mansion at the end. Although I don't think it will ever happen, it woyld be kinda cool to have $10-20m properties. No special purpose other than to look cool.

I don't want new space for more cars, but I'd love to get a different location - the Jetty or some of the other buildings would make for a great new apartment location.

There should also be a new 10 car garage or two north of the city. Or a house with a 10 car garage and high-end apartment interior and the ability to see out.

I would be disappointed if there isn't anything new in terms of apartments on Tuesday. To some degree, if you're going to be having heists, something new to buy beyond cars/clothes/weapons is worth offering.

Being able to purchase random warehouses or have them create a set number of random properties would be cool.

(Kinda like how Lester used his workplace for a home-base)

Maybe something by the docks, a warehouse by ammu-nation across town, or in the desert like Trevor had his lab set up in. Something shady and not high end or fancy.

I hope for either a 4th property, or 20 car garages. Or even better, a storage that you can call cars from and to but not see them, and have a garage as big as a Forza garage :)

Thing is, I really like looking at all my cars as well as driving them :p So personally for me just being able to store (but not see them at all) is not as good as just having a 4th property

You can look at them once you've brought them out of storage.

What are the odds you're just another "want, want, want", "gimme, gimme, gimme" greedy millenial? 1 to 1?

Its always "more". Nothing is ever good enough. 😐🔫 Let me tell ya, you're not long in this world with that kind of mentality.

I guess yeah, but there's something satisfying about seeing them all lined up in your garage together

I think someone here pointed out that there was a 7 month gap between GTAO's release, then 2nd garages (High Life update or somewhere), and that person then predicted we'd get a 3rd after 7 months from that, and we did (xmas I think it was - I sold my xbox 360 around flight school), so maybe in about 4-5 months time from now we may get a 4th.

This can almost be predicted to happen - a 4th garage about 6 months after a slew of new vehicles. It's standard practice.

Everybody sells some of their fully modded beauties to make room for the new ones, especially if there is any doubt that the new ones might be temporary. And then, months later, Rockstar gives us another garage, and we end up buying back all those dear cars again; cash cards get bought, and Rockstar is about $8M GTA0 richer for each player that does this. That's how it worked last two times, as you stated.

There is an amazing museum near me. Has about 100 classic cars in the showroom, mostly from Europe/Asia. A lot of really rare, 1 of 1 stuff. For an extra $10, you can take the tour of the underground storage level you can see the other 200 cars they have stored away.

You are damn straight I paid the extra $10

I want to see all the cars in one place. I would prefer not to have an invisible storage system.

I don't care for mansions or yachts or any of that. The first day online was turned on and I saw the Adder I was like "Oh cool, I wanna be one of the rare people to own that car!". A week later, every f*cking person had a Adder, and bragged and wouldn't stfu about it or any other expensive car.

Whatever new fancy rich person thing is released, we'll all have it. The 14 year olds will brag about it for 6 months, even though everyone owns it.

Me personally, I like the normal looking homes that a normal person like me would own irl. Same with cars too, sorta.

Like this neighborhood in Mirror Park.

Like the houses we have now out of LS, no one owns them, or goes in the areas. I feel far more unique by owning a house in Paleto Bay, than I do with my apartment in Weazel Plaza. And I really really like the way Mirror Park looks, and I like these houses (They all have for sale signs too). I'd much rather have one of these than a mansion in Vinewood Hills, where I have to dodge idiots with RPGs just to get out of my garage.

I'm 39 years old, and I challenge you to either say you believe me OR to demand that I post a photo of my driver's license to prove you wrong. Because I'm fully prepared to do so. If you're ready to get publicly and undeniably proven wrong, go ahead and try me.

What you failed to realize in your haste to toss out an insult, rather than address the topic intelligently, is that millennials aren't the only greedy people. I basically grew up in the 1980s, a decade known for materialism (amongst other things). Madonna even covered that fact in one of her most popular songs from that time.

So although I'm not a millennial, I do want more, and I make no apologies. Wanting more, in this case, isn't going to hurt anyone else...and that's my whole point. Rockstar adding more garages isn't going to hurt you one damn bit, so being against it is just you arrogantly thinking that your opinion of the way this game should be is the only possible correct way. Maybe you missed your calling in life as a communist dictator.

I mainly want another garage for specialist racing and drift vehicles, for example I have a fully upgraded Massacro which I race in, however it doesn't have a spoiler on it. Same for supercars, I've got an Entity but no spoiler. So I'd like to have a handful of what I consider to be ugly but functional cars that are each the best in their class for racing, I've been out of the racing game for a while and I'd like to get back in it.

I'm also stuck in limbo somewhat with drifting, I want a few different drift cars that I can slam but all my 30 cars have BP wheels and that's not going to change so at the moment I can't own a drift car. I'm not willing to sell any of the 30, I have them all for a reason.

I don't think there's been any news about a fourth garage though has there?

Serious question...How many apartments will :r*: need to give us before people are content?

If they give us a 4th one everybody will ask for a 5th than a 6th and 7th

For me personally, I want a fourth for specialised vehicles, a fifth for any remaining cars that I'm interested in, a sixth in Sandy Shores to fill with rust buckets and a seventh in Paleto Bay just for fun. So if I had seven garages that would be enough for me assuming there isn't a deluge of new vehicles from R*.

What's the point though? You'll never drive all of them.

They'll just sit there forgotten about never to be driven

In another topic I made this post illustrating my theory as to the next garage update based on the timing of the second and third garage.

GTA Online; Launches; October 1st; 2013

2nd Apartment added; May 13th; 2014 (7 Months and 12 days, later.)

3rd Apartment added; Dec 18th; 2014 (7 Months and 5 days after the second)

So we should see a 4th apartment around late July

It's a game and other people's choices have zero affect on your gaming experience yet you want them to be limited. Your childish not people asking for the opportunity.

Well, we could look at more dedicated car racing games. Have you ever played Forza or Gran Turismo? Do you know how many cars you could own in those games?

I'll give you a hint, it's not measured in the 10's, it's measured in the 100's.

But those are pure racing games! you might be saying. Exactly, in those games the only thing you could do with your cars is race them. In GTA you can race your cars, but also use them for pulling off heists and other missions, use them in freemode wars, or just cruising around and participating in meets. Cars have way more uses in a game like GTA than in games like Forza or GT.
