4th Apartment or Mansion with Heist update?

I don't see any problems having the option to buy as many apartments as a players wants to buy. It should be in R*'s best interest to allow this.

 

With more place to store cars, you will have people hoarding them, which costs money not just to buy but to upgrade as well. Garages drain a lot of cash from the game and when the money runs out, some people look towards cash cards.

 

Oh wait, console limits...

Property ownership should be unlimited.

 

This isn't about need.

 

I want more.

 

I'm a criminal, I don't need a Dump, but I have one because I'm a bat sh*t crazy criminal.

 

I want 150 cars. With doubles and triples of the same car to choose from. I want a copy of my favorite car in every garage on the map, for easy access.

You wasted a lot of energy ranking 1 character to level 232

 

You could have 2 level 144 characters now and you'd have 60 garage spaces

Why would I want to restart back at level 1 just to pretty much do something i've already done? Thats dumb. I never liked the idea of a 2nd character, I want everything under just 1 one character and put all my efforts into that

What would everyone make of this system?

 

You can purchase unlimited property (I'd personally prefer level locked but for now lets say any old lvl24 with a cash card can get involved)

 

You buy unlimited properties and therefore increase your utility bills and mechanics fee etc with every property as it already stands.

 

Now the interesting part: insurance / upkeep

 

For each and every insured vehicle in your garage you must pay daily/weekly/monthly insurance (maybe daily would work best as its the same as the aforementioned bills)

 

For hoarders who claim they use every car, theyll be paying a massive upkeep to back up their claim. This will force them to keep grinding in order to maintain their bank balance or admit defeat and remove the insurance from unused cars or sell them altogether to pay for the upkeep of other precious motors.

 

Hoarders who want to keep rare vehicles and limited edition bits can simply not insure the vehicle. Therefore no upkeep cost (but its safe in your garage gathering dust).

 

Those of you who prefer to live within your means can manage your outgoings by only having a selection of vehicles in however many properties you care to have.

 

This would of course require some tweaking of the Mors Mutual service via your phone in order to insure/uninsure vehicles when needed as I would imagine actual tears would be shed with people losing uninsured rarities on their way to LSC.

 

But what if people only insure the car theyre driving? Easily taken care of. Insurance is paid for say a month/year lump sum then a rolling daily charge thereafter. This would make flipping between cars a costly procedure and would hopefully encourage people to live within their means.

 

Everyones a winner.

 

Rockstar make money from hoarders buying cash cards in order to needlessly fill garages and pay for the upkeep of their fleet of vehicles.

 

Non-hoarding snobs can pat themselves on the back safe in the knowledge that theyre not paying out thousands for a fleet of vehicles they never use

 

Collectors can admire their rare vehicles within the safety of their garage at no cost.

 

Adder / Dubsta bond-ers can keep their stash safe for free.

 

Money glitchers and billionairres can live like kings for eternity

 

Peasants will have to stay devoted to their small collection of vehicles

 

I propose that the insurance costs are only incurred while online. No sense in having people log back in after 2 months to find theyre completely skint.

 

Thoughts?

 

TL;DR: you pay for the upkeep of vehicles to deter you from being a hoarder

 

Disclaimer: I personally have no problem with people filling 3, 10 or 20 garages with whatever they want. It makes no difference to me.

Sadly, there's no such info, I hope we'll have a fourth, since I don't drive the same car everyday and I like to collect them.

To those who say "sell some you don't need that much", not everyone can mindlessly sell cars like you do.

You would restart so you can have twice as much of everything!

 

Ranking up now is probably pretty easy as the Gerald missions pay a lot more, plus you get better weapons right away now

 

R* didn't just make these rules, when I hit level 135 on the first character we could only have 1 property

Ill put it like this I personally want a 4th property so I can have 1 in all areas of the map. I doubt we'll get a 4th during this update but maybe they open more houses up around the map. For those saying start a 2nd character that's not everyones cup of tea. Seems like a waste of time for me to do everything all over again not even including winning races for car upgrades but if that's what u want to do then go right ahead

like i said before, youre not forced to buy it.

 

if youre happy with your 10-20 cars im cool with that, now get out of the way and let me buy more garage space!

 

R* really should add some 20 car garage. i'd be happy to drop atleast 300k for it!

it has only been 2 months since we got a third appertment so i actualy dont expect such a thing till july...or later...or never

though i think it woud be great to be suprised with a new one, i doubt it

In a way it would make sense. They should add something to buy outside of the Heists. I mean we`ll be making all that money. Would be dumb if they would not add anything good to spend it on. Especially when a lot of players alreadt have everything they want.

With big money coming with hiests they really need to start adding multimillion dollar mansions with optional helipad attachments or something a big yacht to spawn in and drive, storing cars on the driveway of mansions.

 

Then we need businesses to invest in not a massive return in profits but something decent, and having to defend them or something, turning certain garages/houses into crew HQ with crew emblem on the outside and stuff like that

With all the new heist vehicles now confirmed in freemode, im going to struggle to find carpark space even with my 30 bays. Has anyone picked up any info on additional appartments in all the latest heist hype? Guess im forced to burn money selling a few of my fully upgraded rides...

What, you mean all of the new PEGASUS vehicles? How many of the new vehicles will actually be garage vehicles? Four?

For me, there is nothing--NOTHING--I want more in this game right now than more garage space.

 

For those who say we don't need to store more than 30 cars: you're right. I don't NEED it. I have everything I NEED: air, water, food, shelter, clothing.

 

Before you tell me I don't NEED more garage space, re-read my first sentence above: I said I WANT.

 

Next you're going to tell me I don't drive all the cars I already own, so what's the point of having more.

 

Again, you are WRONG. Just because you play the game a certain way, and only ever drive one or two cars, don't have the arrogance to assume that everyone else is just like you and plays just like you. Yes, I do drive them all. Obviously not at the same time, nor even all in one day. Some I drive more than others, but I do drive them all. I'm in a racing and car meet crew so I have some cars set up for racing, then I have a bunch of different cars to use in meets that we have almost every day. And they're often themed, so a variety is essential.

 

Now maybe that doesn't sound like fun to YOU, but I am not you. And it's ok that we don't like the same things! It's ok that there are people in the world who,are different from you, you don't have to be afraid of us!

 

All you have to do is don't be against what we want if it doesn't hurt you, just because you don't understand it.

as long as R* keeps adding stuff I will never be satisfied, such is life as a millionaire

 

This. We also gotta have that mansion to show off our wealth. Peasants just don't understand.

 

Most of the people bitchin about a 4th garage are probably kiddies that drive Zentornos 90% of the time.
