Is the weapon wheel broken?

Is there anyway to stop the weapon wheel from resetting everytime I get out of a vehicle? I set the weapons prior to entering a vehicle then when I get out 6/10 times they've changed to different weapons.

 

It gets somewhat frustrating when jumping out of a vehicle to strategically kill someone and not having the gun you need because its randomly switched! Case in point, I was killing a level 460 something earlier, I killed him 57 times he killed me 6 times. 2 of my deaths were from this stupid bug.

 

We were both in vehicles, I drove down an alley to lure him in to kill him, then as I get out to quickly kill him, my gun has changed from the combat mg to the uzi and the extra time it took to kill him, allowed him to kill me with c4 as I killed him.

 

Does this sh*t happen to anyone else if so, anyone know of any fixes?

Happens to everyone, no way to fix it. Been like this since day 1.

It changes because the guns it changes to are useble in your car if you don't go thru your weapons while in your car it won't change

Or you can get rid of micro smg and it won't change

It's not a bug

Same thing happens to your pistols and exposives only way to stop it is to remove the guns

 

In smgs the micro smg causes it

In pistols they all do it so just keep the 1 pistol you use-I'd prob keep the ap pistol

In explosives they also all do it so just keep the exposive you like

Set your SP characters' wheels up the same way you want your MP weapon wheel.

Give your SP characters the weapons you want online, and save the game with the one you want as "default" equipped.

 

Now your MP character will default to what you want.

The subtle bragging in the OP.......

 

Anyway, the only problem I've faced with this on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One was the Micro SMG always being selected when I got out of a vehicle instead of the Combat MG.

 

Just gotta learn to live with it.
